Description

*May be moving in the next few months. Please refrain from booking more than two months in advance as myself and the vehicle may not be in the state. This may result in a cancelled booking if I move before your trip. Thank you for understanding and apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.* This is a truck. A great hauler of people, pets, bikes, skis, and furniture from IKEA or yard sales. With the cover over the bed, your belongings will be secure and protected from the elements on road trips. Also included are ratcheting straps to strap down items in the bed. Smooth ride from a truck and the visibility is unrivaled in the big horn trim. Can seat six. I average about 17MPG with mixed city/highway driving. Something I have learned on Turo, it is much easier to book the vehicle and pick up later than the time requested and dropping off earlier than your time and end the trip early though Turo. Once you have the truck booked, you are booked! This was an excellent hauler to and from Yellowstone Park from Denver. Check out the reviews on my Mazda 3! Please let me know if you have any questions! For this vehicle, there is no smoking or vaping and a $200 professional detail will be passed on if smoking did occur in the car at any point in the trip. If the included cables are damaged or missing, a $15 replacement fee will be added. Since this is Colorado, be mindful of the weather. Passenger Vehicle Chain Law can be in effect at anytime specifically on State Route I-70. Please do not risk your safety and be on the roads during those severe weather events. There are fines associated with driving under these conditions.

Guidelines

This is a big truck. Please watch for pedestrians, bikers, and small vehicles when making turns if headed into the city. Many roads are quite small in comparison to the truck. Per Turo policy, towing a trailer of any type is prohibited. Make sure that your license matches your account name exactly. If not, this may result in a canceled booking No smoking, including vaping. A $200 professional detail will be assessed if smoking occurred at any time during the trip.

Faqs

  • Will I be charged a late fee?

If you are going to be late, please let me know, then contact Turo to extend the duration of the trip. There may be another guest who has booked the truck after your trip ends.

  • Are you flexible with the pickup and drop off time?

Of course! If you need more or less time with the truck, contact Turo or make the change in the trip. Keep in mind this may result in fees if the time is over a certain amount of hours. I do not have control over these fees. This is done to prevent double bookings, lapses in insurance, late drop-offs, and miscommunication. The only change I can make on my end is canceling the trip.

  • Why is there a deposit?

Turo implements a deposit of $100-400 and it varies on the driver and vehicle so I cannot say for sure how much it would be. This covers incidentals such as over mileage or post-trip cleaning.

  • Where can I clean the truck?

There is an automatic wash called B &B Auto Wash that does a great job about 5 minutes away. For DIYers, Safari Auto Wash self serve about 3 minutes away works well too!

  • Can I tow?

Turo prohibits towing of any kind.

  • Can I off-road?

Nope. Turo policy prohibits off-roading and we are only 2WD.

  • Can I use toll roads?

Yes. I will send a reimbursement request after the notice comes in the mail about 30-60 days after driving in the toll road.

Great car to have for your Colorado adventures. Dakota covered the major details by putting snow tires on for and also has a bed cover. Dakota also covered the minor details like leaving us a charging port and bluetooth converter. The truck handled nicely in snow and slush and my friends and I were able to fit 5 guys and all our ski gear. 10/10 recommend.

Dakota was super easy to work with... his truck is a good work truck when mine was in the shop. Answered questions via text during the rental.
