All our locations are remote pickup. The vehicle will be left for you to check in without meeting up with us. Detailed instructions will be provided upon ID verification and trip check in.

This is a safety feature we have on all our rides for the worst case scenario. Do not tamper with the device. There is a locked safety cable that is keeping the device in place. There is no audio or visual recording with this feature. **$500 keyfob replacement fee if lost. **We have a tracking system on the wheels and tires. There should be no reason to remove them during your trip. Removal of tires will have legal implications outside of Turo. Hint, please don’t try to steal/swap our tires. 🙂 **No removal of any mechanical part of the Jeep is authorized. We value the vehicle and have detailed maintenance records if you have any concerns. Kindly do not pop the hood for any reason. **We’re ok with you installing a car seat in the rear cab. We mandate a certified installer complete this installation and removal. **factory off road oversized tires, be cautious at high rate of speed and slippery surfaces. **Bed cover is not 100% water tight, slight leak. We recommend covering your belongings in a tarp or large garbage bags if heavy rain is in the forecast. We keep extra under the backseat. **Even though Willy is built for off-road use, you are NOT authorized to go mudding or rock crawling with our ride. Please stick to manicured trails for safety and insurance reasons. **PROFESSIONAL HAND WASH ONLY! If you are going to clean the car prior to drop off, it must be a hand wash only. DO NOT wipe clean with a rag unless all dirt is hosed off first. If you’re not confident in being able to clean the vehicle without scratching paint, kindly return in it's dirty.

• Self check in available?

  Yes - it will always be self check in unless requested otherwise.

• How many miles are inlcuded?

  We unfortunately no longer offer unlimited miles unless you're towing. Right now it's 200 miles per day. If you're towing, we recommend 100miles or less and you follow the tow instructions in our listing.

• Can you take the car on the beach?

  NO. This is typically illegal.

• If the Jeep has excess mud/dirt do you need to give it a car wash?

  NO! We ask that you DO NOT get the vehicle washed. If you must, it MUST be a HAND CAR WASH ONLY! The only exception is if you spray it yourself, and then we ask that you only use the powerwasher, no brushes. We have had issues in the past where the paint has been damaged by a commercial car wash.

• Can I smoke in the vehicle?

  NO! This is a ZERO tolerance policy. Any smell of smoke or sight of ashes you will be charged a non-negotiable $150 fee.

• Can I tow with the vehicle?

  Yes, but there are VERY STRICT rules. 1. We ask that you stick to local roads or no more than 60miles. 2. The towing capacity 4,000lbs, but we recommend you do not come within 50% of the capacity. Our accessories are not rated past 5,000lbs. 2. You will have to stay at a VERY low speed. If on highway, you must stay in slow lane and go no more than 45mph. 3. It's highly recommended that you only use an open trailer. A small open trailer with ATV's or dirtbikes is fun, just stay in the slow lane. An enclosed trailer will create too much drag and instability. 4. You must use all of our safety accessories such as the hitch pins, safety chains, and wiring harness for brake lights and turn signal extensions. DISCLAIMER***Please do not rent this vehicle with the intention of towing a long distance. Willy has off road knobby tires that are not ideal for towing. You will have to stay at a VERY low speed. If towing is your primary purpose, we recommend you choose a full size pickup such as F150 or F250, not a Jeep Gladiator.

• If I follow the rules for towing, what accessories are included?

  We include the following tow accessories. They are under the rear seats. ***We recommend you DO NOT tow more than 2,000lbs. Max rating 4,000. 1. TOW HITCH. Reese Towpower 21512 Multiple-Ball Ball Mount, Black, Medium. The sizes include: 1 ⅞” ball rated up to 2,000lbs. 2” ball rated to 6,000. 2 5/16” ball rated to 10,000lb. NOTE** the vehicles tow capacity is only 7,000lbs of which we do not recommend you exceed 3,500lbs for safety purposes. 2. SAFETY CABLES. 1/2'' Trailer Coiled Safety Cables,Self Coiling Towing Safety Cables with Vinyl-Coated. 7/16'' S-snap Hooks with Safety Latches. 5,000 lbs strength. 3. WIRING HARNESS. 7 pin to 6 pin Trailer Cable. Flexible Coiled Cable Stretches to 8 ft.

• Do you have a safe place for me to leave my vehicle?

  Yes! Message us and we'll coordinate depending upon the pickup location you choose.

• Does the vehicle have 4-wheel drive?

  YES, it is a true 4x4. You can manually shift the vehicle into 4L or 4H. We recommend daily driving in 2WD unless severe weather, then rock and roll in 4H. 4WD low is strictly for special occassions of which, if you know then you know. :)
