📸 Vehicle Documentation: - Upon Check-in and Check-out, several pictures will be taken to ensure both parties are covered. We recommend capturing 16 photos in total: - One wide photo of each side of the car (4 photos). - One photo from each corner of the car (4 photos). - One close-up photo of each wheel (4 photos). - One photo with your phone placed against each window to document the condition of each seat (4 photos). - Additional photos to document any preexisting dents, scratches, or dirt. 🚘 Autopilot Use: - A legal disclaimer must be read on the vehicle’s touchscreen prior to activating Enhanced Autopilot. - Tesla does NOT yet offer a Fully Self-Driving car, so the Driver is responsible for all incidents when operating. - Like all other cars, Teslas require the Driver to be alive, awake, and alert at all times. 🏎️ Speed and Driving Conduct: - Do not exceed 85 MPH for any reason at any time. The vehicle is trackable via GPS, and the owner may be notified via the Tesla app if the driver exceeds this speed. - The Renter/Driver is responsible for all legal violations, including but not limited to Parking Tickets and Moving Violations. - Speed may be limited if reckless driving is detected. 🚭 Smoking and Cleanliness: - Smoking Prohibited: Smoking of any kind, including cigarettes and marijuana, is strictly forbidden in the vehicle. This is in line with Turo’s policy. If any evidence of smoking is detected, a $150 cleaning fee will be charged. - Animal-Friendly: Pets are welcome, but please ensure the car is returned in the same clean condition. Excessive dirt, grime, or pet hair may result in additional cleaning fees. - Return Condition: The vehicle should be returned in the same condition it was provided. Any excessive dirt or grime inside or out may result in a detailing fee. 🔋 Charging and Condition: - Expect a clean car with at least 80% charge at the beginning of each trip. - Please return the car with at least 80% charge to avoid additional fees. - Returning the car damaged, unclean, stained, or with less than 80% charge may result in additional fees. - Any road tolls and/or unpaid tickets associated with your trip will be billed after the trip. - Tire tread depth will be measured before and after your trip. Excessive wear due to drifting, track use, or other extreme activities will result in additional fees. - Off-roading is strictly prohibited. • 🔌 How do you handle Supercharging fees and road/bridge tolls?

  During your trip, any Supercharging fees and tolls will be automatically billed to my account. After your rental ends, I’ll compile all the incurred charges and send you an itemized invoice through the Turo app. You can easily reimburse these costs directly within the app. This process ensures you don’t have to worry about paying for Supercharging or tolls upfront, making your journey as seamless as possible.

• 🚗 Can my friends/family members drive the vehicle?

  Yes, as long as they are legally licensed and added as a registered driver with Turo. The primary renter may need to be present for pick up and drop off.

• 📱 I would like to use the Tesla app to control the car and monitor charging during my trip. Can you provide app access?

  Yes! You will be provided access to the Tesla via the Tesla mobile app. Upon arrival, you can unlock the Tesla using the lock icon in the Tesla app and pair your mobile device as the key.
