I am very excited to rent my 2023 Dodge Durango Rt Hemi to the guests who rent in our Turo Community. This truck has been recently purchased and enjoyed by a select few, but every guest who had rented it, has had nothing but positive feedback about this truck. My Durango has been bought Brand new. This Durango has been purchased with a huge list of options, Over the years Dodge has included many options that Drivers has grew to adapt and enjoy to today. The options that this truck includes: -The 5.7 liter delivering a total of approximately 360hp, - Beautiful leather seats, with a touch of suede headliner -Factory Dodge built in GPS -Hk audio - Sunroof - Heated/Cooled seats as well as heated steering wheel -Wireless Charging Dock And much much more Please note that this vehicle is capable of holding 6 to 7 people but is suitable to seat up to 5 people comfortably. Pickup and Drop off: The vehicle can easily be picked up and dropped off at my residence if you haven’t requested delivery to your desired location. Please note - Please do not smoke in or around the vehicle - 200 miles a day are included in the daily rental price anything above maybe subject to an extra charge unless we have spoken about it. - the car does take regular gas, the vehicle is given to you on full tank I expect for the vehicle to be brought back with the same amount of gas. —Any tolls incurred during your rental, will be reviewed and you will be charged for as soon as I receive the bill.

Overall not a favorable experience using Turo. Sherif was friendly but the communication was a little frustrating. We had no idea how to pickup or return the car very close to the start times which was frustrating.
After searching for the car in the parking garage, we could tell right away the car had a weed smell inside covered up by an air freshener. Maybe this is normal in Michigan since weed is legal but either way it wasn’t a pleasant smell that didn’t go away during the entire trip and got worse after the car would sit in the sun. Also the car had very little tread on the back tires for a car with only 20k miles. The tread was down to the wear marks and that wasn’t a good feeling traveling with a family of 5 with a toddler.
Returning it was a joke, we were asked to return it to the 8th floor. So therefore you have to drive by a bunch of open spots on the first floor, then by the time we arrived to the 8th floor we had to drive around to find one of the very last spots. Absolute waste of time.
This was a last minute trip and we just booked Turo because the one rental car agency we use was sold out. However I will never use Turo again. It was an absolute rip off. $1200 for 6 days in a dodge durango. I can normally rent an SUV like this for half the price. I checked Luxury SUV rentals for the same time period and they were still less money. Sherif himself said it was crazy expensive but blamed it on Turos fees.
So in the end you pay a premium price for a not so premium experience. Also don’t forget the $70 fee for the car to be delivered to the airport… what a joke.
