IMPORTANT: To save you TIME and MONEY we recommend you chose to picked up and dropped off the vehicle at our West Valley location which is a short Uber ride (4 miles) from the airport. Cost of an Uber is typically less than $20. If you choose to have the vehicle picked up at the SLC airport an “airport fee” will be added to your reservation by Turo. Please note: SLC airport does not allow Turo host to drop off vehicles curbside. We can deliver the vehicle for free to the airport’s economy lot. The airport charges a small fee, typically $12 or less to exit the parking lot. Please note we will invoice you for the return ticket as well. Typically $12 or less as well. 🚗 Recommend: Avoid extra airport booking fees by taking a short (5 mile) Uber or Lyft ride to our parking lot. Turo has an agreement with Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) that allows 2 airport-approved pick up and drop off options 1. Airport Economy Lot (Free Shuttle) *Contactless SLC International airport provides free shuttle service between the economy lot and the terminal, with shuttles departing every 5-10 minutes. Shuttles run 24 hours a day. The airport charges a small fee, typically $10 or less to exit the parking lot (we’ll pay for the returning ticket). We’ll provide you with which shuttle stop to get off of, the section and row your vehicle is parked in (with pictures). The shuttle is a short 5 min ride. ——————————————- 2. Airport Parking Garage (Most Convenient, recommended if you have a lot of bags) *Contactless The most convenient and option is to pick up the vehicle in the airport garage parking lot. This parking lot is connected to the airport terminals and is the closest place possible to pick up the car. This option is $50 (paid directly to me prior to pick up) plus the small exit fee typically no more than $20 as you leave the garage. This option requires me to deliver the vehicle with in 30 minutes to your arrival. If you would like to return the vehicle to the parking garage prior to your departure it’s and additional $50. This option requires me to retrieve the vehicle from the parking garage within 30 minutes of you parking. I did not receive the code to access the car or a photo of where it was placed at the location prior to arriving at the cars location. It was parked at a large warehouse facility so it took some driving around to locate it.
I had the car for 1.5 days and then came out to a dead battery. Upon messaging the owner, I received a misogynistic response of ‘did you leave the light on?’ which was extremely rude and unprofessional.
The next exchange included him telling me that ‘last month the battery checked out fine’ as if that somehow negated the fact that it did not start at the present moment. There were no jumper cables in the vehicle, so luckily, through the kindness of strangers, some one helped me jump the car and I was able to make it back to my hotel.
The following morning, the car did not start as expected. I really did not receive any help or assistance from the host to fix the issue and on Turo’s end I sat on the phone for well over an hour with them telling me they would ‘dispatch another vehicle to me’ even though I had said three times I just wanted to cancel the reservation and be refunded for the two days I would not be using the vehicle.
I have rented with Turo previously but this experience was pretty awful. I had to miss parts of the conference I was in Utah for while trying to fix this issue and it was a huge headache.

Lockbox code was not provided because the renter did not upload photos of her license.
Fog lights were left on which drained the battery. Which is why we asked is any lights are being left on. Battery was 100% fine.
We were responsive and apologetic throughout the entire reservation.
We’re not able to provide a vehicle swap or make changes to the reservations as a host. We called Turo support for her and asked that they get in contact with her.
