I rented this car for a family road trip from Hesperia CA to Peoria, AZ. Pick up was simple. Not before but AFTER I picked up the car from pickup location, Charles sent me a message to notify me that AC sometimes tends to trip but nob just needs to be adjusted, but in this case the AC Would go off and on a lot and I had to adjust the nob many times through out the trip. Right after entering AZ, the car turned off right in the middle of the highway which at the time the car was marking 1/4 tank of gas but it sounded to me that the car had just ran out of gas, therefore I got stuck on the side of the highway in 116 degree hot weather. Sent a message to Charles to notify him that the car had just turned off on me in the middle of the highway and I asked him if he knows if the gas gage is working correctly? While waiting for a reply I contacted roadside assistance through the app. Which they told me 7-8 mines eta for help to arrive with gas. 30 mins went by and no one had came out yet ( I was about 2.5 miles to the nearest gas station) I attempted to turn on the car again which it did and I was able to get it to go for another 2 miles closer before it turned off again, after I walked the rest of the way to get gas and leaving my family in the hot car while I got back, I got back to the car and roadside had NOT ARRIVED yet. I got the car going after pouring the car into the car. Turo had contacted me via text asking me if help had arrived which I replied no, help did not arrive and is no longer needed as I got gas my self and I’m back on the highway. Shortly after getting back onto the high way the check engine light and tire pressure light went on ( I sent picture to Charles at time of check out ) .Charles replied about 1.5 hrs later which at that point I was already back on the highway, that he was only aware that when the tank is full, it only marks 7/8 on gas gage ( which makes it clear to me that he was aware of gas gage NOT WORKING but failed to notify me of it before or after picking up vehicle, until I got stuck and I asked him about it. Turo has charged my card for $70 fee for roadside assistance, that I NEVER received since roadside assistance NEVER got to my location. Im still in the process of disputing this charge as it’s not fair to be charged for a service I never received and I feel like it could have all been avoided if I was notified that gas gage was not working correctly.

Again, Sorry about your experience but no one has ever mentioned a problem with the gas gage and I was never notified you had ran out of gas until after the fact? I have Auto Club and would has assisted you the best I could. Also you should not have to pay any charges through Turo for roadside assistance.
