Parking details

Parking is available on site if necessary for up to 72 hours. Pickup is easy and contactless and once your identity is verified we will remotely unlock the vehicle so you can retrieve the keys and begin your trip! The keys will be located in the center console in a black pouch.

Guidelines

🛞 Off roading is not permitted in this vehicle. You may not drive on mud, dirt, gravel, or sand. 🚭 Smoking is not permitted in the vehicle. 🐶 Pets are not allowed in the vehicle. While we love pets as much as anyone, they do create a lot of wear and tear on vehicles. 💲 Tolls will be charged at the conclusion of your trip. This vehicle is equipped with an EZ Tag that will automatically pay any toll in the state of Texas for your convenience! ⛽️ If the vehicle is not filled back up to the level that you received it with, we will invoice you the full price of refilling the tank with premium fuel and send you a receipt for the fill up. If you’d like to avoid this expense, we strongly suggest that you add a prepaid refill to your trip. Typically, this is the less expensive option when compared to refilling yourself or being billed for a refill. 📦 Delivery to the airport is free. However, we park your vehicle in short term parking for your convenience and you will have to pay the short term parking fee to remove the vehicle from Airport parking. This is not our fee, it’s the airport’s fee and unfortunately, there simply isn’t anywhere we can park for free at an airport. The good news is that this parking garage is attached to the airport and it’s easy to get to without having to catch a bus or an Uber. This fee will range from $5-$24 depending on when your trip is scheduled and we’ll send you all the details after your booking.

  • How do I pay tolls?

    Tolls in Houston are all automated. There are no attendants to pay. Therefore, we have transponders in all of our vehicles. Within 90 days of your trip, but usually within a week, we will invoice you for tolls incurred during your trip. We also send you an invoice for reference that will show you the date, time, and location of the toll along with the fee at each toll. Turo gives you 72 hours to pay these tolls online.

  • What happens if I arrive early?

    Unfortunately, if you’d like to take the vehicle before your scheduled arrival time, you will have to modify your trip in the Turo app. We are more than happy to be flexible with our guests but our insurance policy will not allow us to let you in the vehicle early or extend your trip without a reservation modification.

  • What if I damage the vehicle or get in an accident?

    First and foremost, drive safe! We share our personal vehicles on Turo and we simply ask that you drive it with care just like you would your vehicle. However, accidents do happen. In the event that you are in one, first call the police. Then, communication is key. Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can get insurance involved and correct the problem as quickly as possible. You don’t have to feel bad about damage or an accident. We trust that you will do your best to avoid these situations but we also understand there are risks when sharing vehicles. Just be sure to communicate so neither party is surprised throughout this process!

  • What happens if I return the car and forget to refuel?

    In the event that you forget to fill your tank before dropping the vehicle off, we will charge a refueling fee of $50. We always drop our vehicles off with a full tank of gas and all we ask is that you return the car the same way you took it. However, we also understand if you’re running late or just can’t find a gas station. In this case, we’ll simply fill the tank back up and charge you the $50 flat fee.

  • What if I need something during my trip?

    Call or text us at 262-434-0382. Day or night, we pride ourselves on always being here to help our guests. You are our top priority and we are here to serve you!

However, all cars will break at some point in their lives. If something goes wrong while you're on your trip, just call us. It's our job to figure out a solution for the problem. Based on the way we care for our vehicles, it is highly unlikely that an issue would arise that would not allow you to finish your trip. But, if you have any issue at all, large or small, just let us know. Outside of the Turo industry, we do work in the automotive business and we have a network of dealers that we work with to ensure that issues will be addressed in as timely a manner as possible. This is true of other issues that occur during your trip too. If you were to get a flat tire, get locked out of your vehicle, etc., communicate with us and we'll help find a solution to get you back on the road asap.
