Brand new Hyundai Palisade- not Santa Fe, with all the bells and whistles - AWD, Leather interior, ventilated heated/cooling front seats, 3rd row seat, JBL speakers, Bird’s eye view camera, 3rd row seat, executive 2nd row seats, Lane departure sensors, emergency breaking system, Forest Green on black.. Apple and Android Car play capabilities along with built-in Navigation which makes running your preferred GPS on the big screen convenient. Mechanical coverage and Roadside assistance included. Non-audio Camera in the car protecting the guest in case of an accident. Liability transfer applied to any incident due to the renter’s negligence including traffic violations and laws. Any incurred fees and tolls to be paid by the renter. Renter may be required to must submit own comprehensive insurance card at or before car pick up. Car must be returned washed inside and out, and refueled to the level no less than gas level at vehicle pick-up.

Overall, my experience was satisfactory, but there were a few issues with the check-in process with the host. My scheduled pick-up time was 8:00 PM ET, but the host was approximately 20-30 minutes late. I informed the host that I would arrive between 8:30-8:45 PM, and I arrived at 8:50 PM, as communicated. However, the host was even further delayed, and the car was not ready until after 9:00 PM.
Additionally, there was miscommunication regarding the upload of my driver’s license and insurance card. I followed the host’s instructions to send the documents to her personal line, but it was insufficient, and I was still required to upload my driver’s license via the Turo App.
I was hoping for a smoother process, especially since this was my first Turo experience. Overall, the experience was okay but not exceptional.

Showed up 40 minutes late to agreed-upon drop off location from the day before. Did not take ownership over mistake and tried to put it back on me was not impressed and was majorly inconvenienced because 40 minutes delay meant that I was going to be sitting in traffic on the beltway.
