You turn onto Expedition Drive as if you were headed to the main Cabelas store. you Immediately take your first right and head to the park-and-ride just 100 yards away. This well lit parking lot safe secure and next to the interstate exit 42 tollbooth. One option that we have been using a lot this year is the contactless remote key option. Basically this allows you to pick up the car at your convenience without the car owner being present. For this to happen Turo requires that you go to the trip photo section of the app and you will have an opportunity to add a photo. The photo needs to be your face and your drivers license in the same picture. Once Turo has confirmed your identity you will text me and I will give you information on how to access the keys. Turo also wants you not to upload the photo any more than 24 hours before the start of your trip. Expectations: Most importantly we have a zero tolerance policy for smoking in or near the vehicle this is for obvious reasons as many folks may have allergies and health issues that only get exacerbated by the smell of smoke. Generally we never have few problems with this issue But by being upfront with this policy will set an expectation that reinforces a pleasant experience for you and future renters We recommend you carry in a little bit of cash and pay as you go on the toll highways this is worked out beautifully over the last few years. Please bring the tank back to full and if you feel like the car needs to have a quick cleaning you can visit ScrubaDub car wash or Golden nozzle car wash both have free vacuums and are close by to your pick up and drop off location. As a little bit of encouragement think about the fact that you are sharing the car with others so good stewardship is key.   There is an easy pass transponder allowing you to use the toll roads in Maine at a discount. Tolls are calculated and sent to you as a reimbursement after your trip. Please contact me if you have any questions.
