The rental started off wrong with the host needing an oil change. She advised me that I would be ok and then proceeded to explain the special way to drive the vehicle. But I was desperately in need of a vehicle so against my better judgement I continued on with the rental. Car ran a little funny but it’s an older model Benz from car fax go figure. Any who, I was going to be an hour late returning in which I advised the host. I thought everything was fine because she agreed to the late return. Only for another 30 minutes to pass by and the harassing begin from the host. At this point the host became very rude and disrespectful, I no longer felt safe returning car without someone being with me because she and her daughter would be waiting for me. I returned the car 2 hours late, so that they would be tired of waiting on me and not cause an altercation. Once returned I informed her of that and that the keys were in the vehicle. She thanked me and even sent another message about me cleaning out her car better than she had prepared if for me! Only for another 10 minutes to pass and the harassing text messages starting back on how she would be charging all these illegal fees. And that I knew better to get out of there. At this point I’m in disbelief and asked her to stop messaging me before I press charges. For this reason I will stick with the major renter companies because Turo let anyone host and if I hadn’t been proactive about things this could of resulted in a much horrible situation. I have all documentation as well. Renters be ware of this host!

First of all you dropped my car off without telling me it was outside. You were 3 hours late and you didn’t call me or answer your phone which was very disrespectful. Then when I got it back it smelled like weed very strong. It was weed spilled in between my seat and on the floor. I wish I could upload the pictures on here. That was disrespectful. Yes I needed an oil change and my appointment was for another week. My Mercedes is a 2018. You were wrong for smoking in my car period!
