Overall, this was a positive experience with a few hiccups.
The car itself was fantastic. It was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with modern features like Apple CarPlay and luxurious leather seats, making our journey comfortable and enjoyable. Plus, its spacious interior accommodated our group with ease.
However, there were discrepancies between the listing photos and the actual car, which was a bit disconcerting (License plate numbers did not match). The presence of winter tires in California during the summer seemed odd, especially with the notification system reminding us to slow down due to the tires.
On the customer service front, we encountered some challenges. While the company managing the rental was responsive, their communication was often verbose and sometimes irrelevant to our rental. It felt like information overload, which could be streamlined for a smoother experience.
In summary, while the car itself met our expectations, there's room for improvement in terms of accuracy in listings and streamlining customer communication. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience with Turo was satisfactory, and we'd consider using the platform again in the future.
