Guidelines

Absolutely no SMOKING real leather is hard to remove smoke smell from, that includes marijuana. You will he charged if you smoke in it and it’s not cheap. *Car should come back the way I gave you it, clean, washed, and vacuumed with same amount of gas. **TIP purchase the post trip cleaning fee if you won’t have time to clean it. *Please take care of the car like if it was yours if you HIT or Damage it please let me know to make the claims process easier for both of us. **91 premium gasoline only *Dogs are allowed but you have to clean up whatever mess they leave behind ie. Dog HAIR or you will he charged a $50 cleaning fee to get it all out. *Tickets and Toll Fees need to be paid when you return the vehicle, if I have to reach out to you a $75 processing fee with be assessed. This is a car sharing network and the reason for all the guidelines is the car is rented often and most of the time its already reserved when you return it, if the car comes back dirty that creates an inconvenience for the next guest.   • How does fast track work?

    If you are planning on going through tolls. Please pay in cash whenever possible. If not possible no worries, we will issue a reimbursement request. Photos of the charges will always be uploaded to the trip’s photos.

  • Is there room to leave my own car?

    Yes, although we do not assume responsibility of your vehicle. We have 24 hr. surveillance and can accommodate a parking spot for you. Just let us know if you will need a parking spot at the time of you booking.

  • Why do I need to send my DL?

    It is a Turo policy. We are asked to verify the identity of all our guest, including additional drivers. If you are uncomfortable with sending your drivers license photos feel free to blur out personal information. To verify your identity we only need to see your photo, full name, DOB and expiration date.

  • How do I upload my Driver’s license photos?

    To upload your driver’s license photos: go into your trip’s details, scroll down to “trip photos”, click on the hyperlink “add”, Select “add from gallery”, and select the photos from your photo library, next click “add” on the top right hand corner.

  • Do I need to return the car washed and vacuumed?

    Yes, cars are expected as clean as we gave them to you. Our cars come with unlimited carwash memberships to make this as hassle free as possible for our guests. Tip: If you anticipate not having time to do so, purchase the post trip cleaning which allows you to skip the car wash and vacuum.

  • What gas does the car use?

    91 premium only. Please leave any receipts from when you refuel in the middle compartment.

Picked up the car with expired license place didn’t know into we notice owner never mentioned prior to pick up, we where going out town we paid Hotel Reservation and ruined out trip. Wish this was address before picking up the car . At the time i called owner for details and he did explain they where say for but They were waiting on the license plate. By then my boyfriend was already irritated and want nothing to do with car or tiro. most important i should have been explained vehicle had expired license plates even though they were paid at the DMV never found registration until I asked after I picked up the vehicle and in our way out. turned out it’s only a sticker on the windshield.. could had a head up for this.. not happy at all lost 400 on hotel room and and had to return car next day. still waiting for turo to reimburses us didn’t fell safe drive it ..

Hi Maria, after adding 6 cars to the platform this year alone (in the middle of a pandemic) we have ran into this issue multiple times. Unfortunately we cannot control when DMV provides us with the permanent plates for our cars. Like you mentioned proof of DMV registration was posted on the front windshield. After reassuring you multiple times and offering different solutions it became apparent you were looking for a way out of the car. On our end we have filed a full refund through Turo.
