  • No Smoking Policy

    Put simply- don't smoke or prepare ANY smoking/tobacco/vape/marijuana/etc item in the vehicle including opening/packing/wrapping/filling of blunts, papers, cigarillos, etc. From Turo: All cars on Turo are non-smoking vehicles. Turo prohibits guests, their passengers, and vehicle hosts from smoking in any car in the Turo marketplace. This No smoking policy covers the use of, but is not limited to, any tobacco or tobacco-related products, marijuana or marijuana substitutes, e-cigarettes, or personal vaporizers. If it’s proven that you’ve violated Turo’s No smoking policy, either by smoking or allowing your passengers to smoke, Turo will remove you from the platform. We’ll close your account, and you’ll be unable to appeal this action. You may not smoke in any car, even if you believe your host or a previous guest may have done so. You can purchase a Cleaning Extra for your trip, but it doesn’t give you the right to smoke in the car. We only ask that you choose to for Pet Post Trip Cleaning extra to ensure that the car is returned in the same state/condition of cleanliness as when picked up, specifically when it comes to odor, paw/saliva markings on any part of vehicle, and HAIR! Additionally, we want to make sure that all guests are aware, our seat covers and seats are leather, so if pets/furry family will be in the vehicle, please watch for rips as we will have to invoice for damage. From Turo: If you return the car with significant amounts of pet hair, your host can invoice you for a pet hair removal fee of $150*. Some hosts offer a prepaid pet fee as an Extra to cover the cost of any post-trip cleaning or maintenance.     Our vehicles are sanitized and professionally detailed prior to every booking so that our guests don't have to worry about cleanliness when booking with us. We ask that you return our vehicles in the condition in which we provide them to you; however, if you'd rather not worry about having to vacuum or know that there may be more mess than you want to deal with after your trip, please opt in for our "post trip cleaning" extra, and we'll deal with it for you. Prepaid cleaning fee does not cover upholstery damage/stains or smoke/ash removal. From Turo: If you purchase a Cleaning Extra from your host, you don’t have to clean the car before returning it and can return it with Moderate level cleaning required. However, your host could still charge you a cleaning fee if the vehicle requires Heavy or Severe cleaning. Purchasing a Cleaning Extra doesn’t allow you to smoke in the vehicle.   • Fuel Replacement

    Please return car with the same level of fuel as received. Also and ***IMPORTANT*** Please provide receipts showing you used PREMIUM 91 octane gas. If you do not bring back receipts (corresponding to mileage driven) showing you used PREMIUM 91 gas, you will be charged a fee for us to drain the low quality gas and refill with premium. This is important for the lifespan of our vehicle and is warranted by the manufacturer. For your convenience, if you're only filling up once (approximately 350-375 miles), you can also opt in for the $85 "Prepaid Refuel" extra and bring it back empty. From Turo: Replacing the fuel and recharging the battery You’re responsible for returning the car with the same amount of gas or electric charge it had when you picked it up.     Okay, so the circumstances are really not that special- Turo only allows hosts to pick 1 rate for up to a certain number of miles; however, we don't think someone 2 miles away should pay the same amount of money as someone 50 miles away. If you have any concerns about how much we'd charge for your location, please feel free to shoot us a message or a text, and we'll gladly work with you. Please note that our rate one day might not be the same as another based on where our starting point would be for the day/time of delivery/pick-up. If you'd like a completely certain and at-no-cost arrangement, please use our home pick-up location as that won't fluctuate. As far as providing payment for delivery/pick-up, we will work with Turo to ensure that correct rate is provided BEFORE you book your trip. We can't fall into the "gray" area to ensure both host and guest accounts are not compromised. Another option, is to see where our "free delivery" areas are and meet us there if it's closer to your location.
