Guidelines

I love my car, and hope you love it too. Here's a couple of things to keep in mind: ✅ Please treat it with respect. This is my car, it's not a rental from Hertz. ❌🐶Dogs and cats are wonderful creatures, but no pets in this car please. 🚭This is a smoke-free vehicle. 🧹⛽Please return it as you found it. Clean on the inside and out, with the same amount of gas.

Faqs

  • How do I use the All-wheel drive (AWD)?

The AWD system is fully automatic and will adjust power to the wheels if any loss of traction is detected. There's no complicated levers or buttons.

  • What kind of gas does it take?

    Regular 87-grade gas.

  • How do I use snow chains?

IMPORTANT: This is an on-road vehicle only. Please don't take it away from tarmac or off-road.  This car has AWD and snow tires which should be able to get you safely to where you want to go, even mid-winter in Tahoe. Snow chains are included as a "last resort" and would only be needed in extreme conditions. You can read the requirements for snow chains in Tahoe here: https://tahoe.com/articles/lake-tahoe-winter-driving-tips-chain-requirements If, in the extremely unlikely event there is severe weather and "Level 3" restrictions are in place, snow chains can be installed by following these instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdROEAdoekE NOTE: Max speed of 30 MPH when driving with chains fitted.

  • How many pairs of skis / snowboard does the ski rack fit?

4 snowboards or 4/5 pairs of skis. If you would like the car to be fitted with a ski rack please add it as an "extra" on checkout.

  • How does the bike rack work?

I have 2 bike racks, that combined can carry up to 4 bikes. One is rooftop fork mount (Yamika Viper), which requires that you remove the front wheel. https://www.prolineracks.com/yakima-viper-roof-bike-rack-lrg.jpg The other is trunk mounted, but restricts opening and closing the trunk. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/610VnSAv%2BbL._SX425_.jpg Feel free to message me if you have questions about which may be best for your situation.
