This is a fully electric vehicle; you are provided with a charger that can plug into your standard household outlet OR you can also charge the vehicle at a charging station (additional information below). This is a 7 seater vehicle. All Wheel Drive. SUV. 15in touchscreen including high-definition side and rear view camera views, navigation, movies, music, games and more. Vehicle Description: The glass roof provides headroom, UV protection and a seamless view of the sky. 0 to 60MPH in 4.5 seconds with capability in rain, snow, mud, and off-road. How do I charge the vehicle?
This vehicle is FULLY ELECTRIC which means it DOES NOT TAKE ANY GASS. There are tremendous perks to this! Such as saving money (charging usually costs less than gas) and educe the emissions that contribute to climate change. Please keep in mind all EV charges will be billed to you at the end of your trip. To charge the vehicle there are a few options: 1. You can go to any Tesla Supercharger station. There are hundreds located throughout the US and Canada. This is the fastest type of charge you can have. The vehicle also lists all of the closest stations to you. You will simply go to the station and plug in the car. This will automatically be billed to us and at the end of your trip you will receive an invoice for ALL charges. THIS WILL PROVIDE A FULL BATTERY CHARGE IN ABOUT 1.5 HOURS (Please keep in mind all times are estimates). 2. You can go to any EV (electric vehicle) station. These will require an adaptor (J1772 adapter provided). Please keep in mind there are different types of adapters depending on the station you go to. The most common one is J1772, please do your own research to confirm the EV station you will be using is compatible. Most of these are either free or require your payment information at the time of charge. THIS WILL PROVIDE A FULL BATTERY CHARGE IN A FEW HOURS (Please keep in mind all times are estimates and can vary depending on the station). 3. We provide you with a charger you can use. Do I need to take photos of the car?
Detailed photos of the car will be uploaded prior to and after your trip by a member of the team. You are more than welcome to take as many trip photos as you'd like however you are not required, please do what ever makes you feel most comfortable.
Am I charged for the use of Tesla Super Chargers?
If using a Tesla Super Charger you will walk up to the plug and place it in the port. You will not need to provide any information. The bill is directly invoiced to us. We will send you a copy of the invoice(s) and your total due after the final inspection is complete.
How many miles can I drive?
Each trip is different and this can all depend on the amount of days the trip includes. The 2021 Tesla Model Y includes 200 miles a day. Once you book your trip there will be a section labeled "Details" this will give you exact information on the total amount of miles included in the trip. If you are to exceed those miles you will be charged an Additional Mileage Fee. The price varies and is charge by the mile. Once you book your trip this information will also be provided in the "Details" section.
What can I do to be prepared for my trip?
We will send you step by step instructions, be sure to read these as they provide information about your trip and additional resources. Please take a look through the trip information and confirm things like the pick up location, start/end time, and mileage included in the trip. No more than 24 hours prior to the start of your trip you will be required to upload a series of photos. You may have already provided these to Turo during your enrollment processes however the same following photos will be required for every trip booked on Turo (and that's for every host). - A photo of your Drivers License. Please be sure it is not expired, the photo is legible and clear. - A photo of your Drivers License next to your face. Please se sure the drivers license if legible in the photo and your face is not covered by sunglasses, mask, etc. - A photo of your face from your shoulders up. Please me sure the photo is clear and your face is not covered by sunglasses, mask, etc

The car pickup and drop off was very easy. The inside was clean, however there was a very odd smell coming from the air vents every time that I started up the car that smelled like a wet dog. Not having an actual key was also a little difficult, however we made it work. Overall, pretty good but not perfect.
