This was my first time booking with Turo & after all the fees I was better off booking with a car rental company. The car I had was nice but the entire time it had a strong odor and I had to purchase car spray. Then the top kept unhooking itself when I drove which made it harder to drive . Trevor was nice but I mainly spoke to whom I’m assuming was his wife. When I told her the issues her responses were . Well I didn’t have that issue when I was driving it or “yikes”. Idc what issues you had while driving it, I’m telling you my issues as a customer . Anyway , the car worked fine aside from those small issues. Would I book again ,probably not with Turo. I think if I chose their other cars, I would have a better experience.
Hi Brittany, we are sorry to hear about this experience. As my co-host stated, we did not notice an odor when the car was prepped for you, but we agree there was a problem once the car was returned. The vehicle is currently being diagnosed by our mechanic — we assume a simple catalytic converter fix will solve the issue. Best of luck with future travels.
