You’ll pick up the car by simply unlocking it with your phone after the remote check in process has been completed! If this car is not available for booking, please take a look at my other vehicles by visiting my profile page https://turo.com/drivers/2022786 Pickup and Drop off Instructions For this location you will use our parking garage’s shuttle service to get to and from the car. If you are arriving at terminal 3 shuttle pickup is located at Door 9 North at the outer curb labeled courtesy vehicles. For terminal 4, shuttle pickup is located at Door 7 North at the outer curb labeled courtesy vehicles. ***Requirements for booking*** -Age requirement: You must be at least 21 years old to book this vehicle. A young drivers fee will be applied to anyone 25 and younger, based on Turo's policy which can be found here: Age requirements for drivers – Turo Support -Tolls: Tolls are not covered. Please pay for tolls at the location otherwise you will be billed for tolls and any fees at the end of your trip. -Smoking: Smoking inside the vehicle is STRICTLY prohibited. If the car is returned with a smoke smell or evidence of smoking there will be a $250 smoke removal fee along with a permanent ban from using our cars. -Missing/Low fuel: All guests are expected to return their rentals at the same fuel level as received.   • Can I smoke in the car?

    No Smoking allowed in the car. If there is any lingering smell, Turo will charge up to a $250 cleaning fee.

  • Do I need to return the car clean?

    Yes, If there is any excessive cleaning needed such as: animal hair, food stains, water stains, beach sand, or excessive mud in which we have to shampoo the seats or mats Turo will charge up to a $250 cleaning fee.

  • Does the car have a toll pass for express lanes, toll roads, and bridges?

    Car will come with built in toll pass that is accessible at all state toll roads, express lanes, and bridges. We will ask for reimbursement once the toll(s) arrive into toll account and payable via Turo app. It can take from 30-90 days to get the toll charges.

  • What if I get a parking ticket?

    Parking Tickets need to be paid directly by you once you get the ticket. If you fail to pay the parking ticket you will be charged for the ticket, plus any penalties, and a $25 admin fee charged directly by Turo.

  • How does PHX Delivery service work?

    Seamless Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport service - Once you arrive at the airport you will catch a shared airport shuttle bus to your car. Once you have all your bags and you are ready to be picked up you will head to the airport “designated shuttle pick up area”. Once you arrive at the car you will unlock the car with your phone and be on your way. When your trip is over you will take the shuttle bus back to the airport. This service is not free and is only available if you book for “Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport” and not for vehicle pick up of vehicle at “Phoenix, 85034”. Make sure to select “Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport” at check out or this service will not be provided.

  • If I get your PHX service is that for pick up only?

    PHX service is round trip to the car and back to the airport.

  • What if my incoming flight is early or late?

    Please let us know right away that your flight is early or late. Sometimes our cars book back to back so if your flight is early please notify us when you land and we can let you know if the car is ready for you to pick up or when it will be ready for pick up. If you are late, do not stress, your can still catch the shuttle to the car once you arrive. This service is only available if you booked for “Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport” delivery option and not available if you chose the option pick up vehicle at “Phoenix, 85034”.

  • Do I need to fill the car with gas before returning?

    If you do not purchase pre-paid fuel the car needs to be returned at its original fuel level. If car is brought back not at its original fuel level you will be charged to replace the fuel plus a $10 admin fee charged direct from Turo. If you purchase the prepaid fuel option car will come full and you can return it on any fuel level.

  • Is there GPS built in?

    There is no GPS built in, I recommend using Waze or Google maps.

The unlock feature would be nice if there was the ability to have help after hours. Our plane was delayed and we were unable to notify the owner until we landed and it was after our 30 minute window for help. Leaving us alone in the dark, with an infant, and no way to travel to a safe place. I would not suggest pick up between 7pm and 7am due to the lack of assistance. The problem was that we didn’t add the photos to the Turo app before attempting to unlock the car, and this was not in our directions when we got the information for pick up. Very frustrating and will not use this company again because of it, overall the car was in great condition, just very poor pick up situation. And there was no suggestions made to pick up during daytime hours versus at midnight when our plane arrived.

It was NOT a great first time using Turo experience. License plate tabs expired in 12/21. When I called the phone number for help, the call center person was extremely nice but the owner/popular group offered no resolution. We finally had the call center agent document that the owner would pay the ticket if we got one. I was also charged another $85 in taxes from remote check in. So it became a similar price to normal car rentals. Not sure we would do it again.

Nice car that worked well. Love having Apple CarPlay for directions and music (bring your own cable). On the other hand, the whole customer experience is confusing and takes extra time. Everything you usually do on Turo, you have to do AGAIN through a third-party website (i.e. check in/out, taking photos). You also have to complete a separate pre-checkin process. Fortunately we got helpful, timely responses from the host. Don’t forget to budget time to wash/clean the car if you’re not pre-paying for those services.

Just an ok experience. They charge you a fee just to get approved/ready to drive the car and it’s a lengthy process. They also expect you to vacuum and wash the car after you’ve used it which is i convenient. Although, the car was very dirty inside and out when I picked it up.

Nice, clean vehicle. Pick up process was easy and even though we had a little trouble getting the car unlocked, the customer service was good and quick. Would definitely rent from Popular Group again!
