I was very disappointed with the car. The tires had minimal tread. The vehicle at one stage didn’t allow the passenger door to open. The hosts mechanic knew about the issue and had told the owner. I wasted time and money out of my trip to fix the vehicle. The vehicle also had performance issues and only allowed the vehicle to travel at 40mph at times. Considering the cost to hire the vehicle I was very upset. The host did not seem to care but continually said he was sorry. I wanted to cancel the car but the host said he didn’t have a vehicle of the same standard and that was it. Considering we were on a family vacation I was appalled by the lack of professionalism. I will try to contact Turo ask for a partial reimbursement of hire. I recommend not hiring from this host due to lack of customer service.
