Everything about this trip was incredible. Best turo experience by a long shot.
My original booking (for a different car) was cancelled 2hrs before the pick up time. Turo customer service jumped to it and covered the difference for a much better vehicle, which is how I was able to drive this Volvo.
Lloyd is very quick to respond. Considering my rebooking happened within moments of the pickup, they were on it! It was 120F in the desert and this car, and Lloyd, were my saviors.
Lloyd was very helpful with explaining electric cars and suggesting apps for finding charge stations. I wasn’t sure if I could make it to San Diego from Palm Springs in one charge but they told me where to find places to charge along the way. I got to San Diego with 35% charge left. Electric cars are pretty cool.
The ride itself is luxurious. Lane assist, amazing back-up and parking cameras. Super smooth, zippy, and comfortable. A/C was great and works while charging.
Honestly, this car was such a contributing factor to elevating my vacation!
