Guidelines

Please no smoking of cigarettes or cannabis even legal, please wait till outside the Jeep! Pets of the feline and canine varieties are always welcome and for additional space for the larger ones the backseats fold flat to offer an additional huge amount of additional space for them to be comfortable. Please note that both pets and service animals are required to select the pet option add-on which is a minimal fee for deep cleaning for any and all pet danders as I’ve got cloth seats and trunk space and for removal of any additional loose hairs and removal of any pet smell, I know my Pitbull is prone to getting the backseat funky after a play at the dog park and a thing like a fabric refresher rarely does anything to get it completely gone. Please also refrain from transporting cannabis in my Jeep within California and especially across state boarders, even legal I prefer the cannabis products to be not inside of the Jeep at any time during your rental period and I do have a good delivery service with reasonable prices and huge selection if wanted to partake in cannabis during your trips. Summer months mean typical temperatures exceeding 110° on average through September and the air conditioning had been recently refreshed and for typical days of heat in the low 110° heat it can cool quickly and if it’s above 116° or higher don’t put the air conditioning on the lowest level of setting as it can and will freeze up and causing the colder air be less than the usual coldness it’s capable to be able to provide but even at those temperatures don’t expect the interior to cool off quickly and expect it to be at least 15-25 minutes or longer to get to be a comfortable level as you have to remember the difference between outside and inside is a 40-55° difference in temperatures and they constantly have a battle to be superior. Also, the gas intake valve is located on the right side of the Jeep and the flap opens up with a push on a outside corner and then you will notice no actual gas cap and once done refueling angle it upwards to ensure that the gas is completely out of the hose and not risk a spill and simply close the gas tank flap with a firm pushing it to the body of the car as a light push to it will often cause it to reopen once a wind or air gets through the slightest opening. Additionally the Jeep has always on daylight running headlights and they are for safety and in zones requiring them to be turned off the switch to adjust them to off position is on the left hand side of the wheel and the only one large round dial. When it’s located all the way to the left all lights are off and they include daylight running lights, headlights and bright lights and to return to the preferred setting of the automatic lights turning on and off then simply turn the same dial to the farthest right position and then you have the daylight running lights on and anytime you are in a dark location detected by the sensors they automatically get to turn the headlights on and especially when dusk comes they usually turn them on roughly when the sunset is finally faded and the lights are automatically turned on for your ease and not to worry about always turning them on and off again and again because that’s a pain. Premium Serious XM radio has all of the possible channels from music to talk shows and even sports games without blackout restrictions and a accessible on the touchscreen device and that’s also the place you’re going to be able access the Apple CarPlay and Android Audio access place as long as your device is compatible with it and plugged in to the front area USB input to allow it to get connection with the onboard system and a small icon on the touchscreen towards the right lower side will be what you have to click to show the service you’re using and sometimes you additionally have to pair the device your intending on using to make or accept calls with the device Bluetooth and the touchscreen onboard system Bluetooth connection and it’s simple to get to work and once you have returned the Jeep I automatically delete any and all of the synced devices that have been added during a rental period for ensuring that your security and information is not even accessible to even myself or any other individual. I do have tire locks on my Jeep tires for the event they are attempting to be stolen and in the event of a a flat tire the responding mechanic is going to have to use the small device to remove the tire and replace it with the smaller spare tire. This device is located in the trunk of the Jeep under the floorboard and inside of the pouch of the other essential items for a potential breakdown and once used please do return it to the same location or a replacement request through Turo will be requested as if anytime a wheel required to be removed from the car the small wheel lock device is necessary and without the device replaced a full flatbed would have to get my Jeep from where I was having a tire issue to the nearest Jeep dealership to use a master wheel lock device they have and they have replacements for sale too. The spare tire is also located under the floorboard in the trunk and the mechanic can either take the tire so you don’t have to pay a disposal fee at the Jeep dealership per California law, and if he does take it to dispose ask him the brand and then it’s wheel size even though the dealership should have the identical tire for replacement on their system as I update between summer time tires and winter tires every season and don’t have the stock tires they originally come with. If you’re liable for the tire to be replaced please use only a Jeep dealership to perform the service as it is possible for you to void my warranty on using a outside company and a tire replacement with taxes, labour and the actual tire is roughly $167 and if the tire damage and required replacement is found in my fault I won’t fight a reimbursement claim you submit to me as long as Turo has been able to determine if the tires required replacement is my responsibility or the renters responsibility for ultimate payment. The standard service required for a Jeep is every 5,000 - 6,000 miles and they are usually able to catch tire issues and required replacement or soon to be needing replacement and this Jeep is in the best possible conditions for it to be able to be in. All the fluids are regularly checked and topped up with certified Jeep Mopar brand fluids and since I park in the uncovered parking space the simple fluids like washing fluids evaporate quicker than the other fluids and they are always immediately replaced with a fully filled space and the more toxic to the environment fluids they are replaced and replenished by the dealership directly as spilling in my community could be a good fine. Currently tires tires are summer tires tires and able to work with no issues with the external temperatures and the excessive temperatures of the roads and they won’t if punctured go flat, but the dashboard console will alert that the tire is either severely low on pressure or the tire is punctured and if you have it as an issue you can get it freely patched up at any Big O tire location and they don’t even charge you for anything, period and including labour which sometimes is a while to find the nail and remove it and then properly patch it. You again have to get them the tire wheel lock device or they are not able to remove the tire and get it repaired. If either of the events of tire issues have occurred please contact Turo initially and then please contact me immediately regardless of the time both via chat in app to have a document of your notice to me it also phone me as j sometimes don’t get push notifications from Turo. I don’t know what Turo will require for a tire replacement but inform them that they have to get it done at a certified Jeep dealership as they usually have the tire in stock and they have a record of the size of the tire and the tires dimensions unlike any other tire sales location. Tire puncture patches don’t need to get reported to Turo as they are free to replace the tire damage within an hour or two from the time you arrive and please keep all the documents they provide for you to keep as they are required for a lifetime of the tire warranty service and would appreciate that being provided for me and my records. Summer tires are unique compared to all terrain and winter tires and they have a great grip on the asphalt and they usually have the ability for sharp and sudden turning if wanted in a speed upwards of 55 mph and not even an additional rollover risk for the Jeep. They also are able to get better traction on hills and incline locations and especially for the speed limit or a bit more and more ability for them to be able to get the Jeep to be grounded and for safety they usually do have their own individual tire sensors to allow the tires to be reporting the temperatures of them and then the wearing of the tires and when they have a need for a rotation and alignment of them and they have their own individual pressure sensors and then the lower the levels are the best to drop by a dealership to allow them to be able to do the filling of the tires with a nitrogen and air mixture in which allows the summer tires to be able to provide superior service than the cheaper all terrain tires to most people get as they usually are more affordable than switching tires each season when they have a lifespan of 5-7 years maximum and I use them 6 months a year for the best performance of my Jeep in whole.

Faqs

  • Does this Jeep do well on mpg overall?

It gets about 26 mpg city and 36 mpg highway and about 19 mpg off-roading or unpaved roads in the most extreme of environments. I’d say you’d get easily 255 - 305 miles to the tank of gas when filled up full.

  • How does key free doors and ignition work?

This Jeep comes with a key free feature for both getting into the car, starting the car and driving as well as locking the car. The key fob is required to unlock the doors and if it fails to do so there is a hidden physical key in the design of the fob to allow access to the drivers side door. It also allows you to start the car with the physical key by inserting it into the hidden under dash location under or by the steering wheel, if a key fob is to fail during your adventure, please notify me and I’ll make all attempts to get a replacement fob out to you or if the battery is dead, just drop by a Jeep dealership and the service department to get them to replace the battery. It’s a fee of less than $20 and I will reimburse with proper documentation and receipt provided to me upon returning the Jeep. To start the car all you simply have to do is have your foot on the brake and push the ignition button and it will turn on. To turn the car off, be in park and push the ignition button once and it’s off. To lock the car use the key fob once all doors are closed and will activate the low-jack safety features of the car and active active not passive installed alarm.

  • Does this come with anti-theft devices?

Yes, this Jeep comes standard with a very high tech and sometimes touchy alarm system that can go off simply due to the ambient noise of the night. It is activated upon locking the car with the key fob and all doors are closed, trunk included. It’s deactivated by simply unlocking the car with the key fob at any time. If it goes off randomly due to ambient noise or a small critter pressing against the glass or body you’ll have to manually reset the alarm and unlock, then lock the car again. It adjusts to ambient noises for being in various locations and can usually pickup sounds that are hazards and warranting the alarm system to be activated. If the car is stolen during the alarm being active, don’t worry it is covered by the manufacture guarantee that nothing can be stolen with their alarm installed in it.

  • How does LowJack and the Anti-Theft Deterrent Work and what do they do?

Once you lock the Jeep via the provided key fob, it activates the anti-theft deterrent device installed in the Jeep. To disengage the device simply unlock the car with the key fob. This feature is important due to the high theft rates of cars in California and if the car is locked and the deterrent engaged and during your adventure the car is broken into and stolen, the car is covered 100% by the company who manufactures the device and will provide a rental vehicle until the car is recovered and if the car recovered is totalled or not recoverable then they will cover the cost of a new Jeep of the same make and model the same year or within two years of the Jeep that was stolen. LowJack is always active on Conrad and has the capability to disable the Jeep at any time for any reason remotely, including excessive speeds (90+ mph), reckless driving, and things of that nature. The ignition can also be temporarily blocked from being able to use the push start ignition in the Jeep when you have the keys in the Jeep, it can be unblocked once contacting me and rectifying the issues to which loss of use of the Jeep has been deemed a safety or necessity out of possible property loss or damage to it. At no time will I disable a key fob or the car when it’s actually in motion. It also has real time tracking via GPS so if the car is to travel outside the three states (California, Nevada and Arizona) the car will be remotely disabled once it’s placed in park when outside of the designated travel states. At no time will the ignition be disabled and the car be made inoperable while the car is in Drive or Reverse. Only once in park would the car become disabled and you’ll need to contact me immediately to rectify the situation to unblock the ignition block that’s been activated. Turo policy does require statement that my car has a active anti-theft device installed as well as the LowJack system.

  • Off-Roading Responsibilities and Damage

Turo expressly forbids off-roading and including unpaved roads in all its forms for any vehicle rented on the platform, this said I do allow for off-roading to take place with my Jeep and its the sole responsibility of the driver under the reservation to repair, replace or cover damages incurred both externally, internally or in the interior during an off-road adventure. Tires and brakes are included in possible damage that could be at the expense of the renter on the reservation. I do require all people renting my Jeep to sign a waiver that’s taking full responsibility for any off-roading activity conducted and that they’d be responsible for any and all damages incurred by taking Conrad off the marked roadways (not including dirt roadways, gravel roadways or those roadways through farms that are on grass but well designated). Conrad is a sturdy and handling well Jeep for a mild to moderate off-roading adventure and the risks outweigh the potential cost of repairs or damage done in the course of the adventure. I do hold all renters under the reservation to give prior notice of intentions of off-roading as to adequately allow me to prepare the Jeep for those conditions and the terrain. I also do carry additional coverage under my personal insurance policy to cover off-road incidents and towing to the dealership closest to you for the repairs or fixes required if something were to occur off of a paved and marked road.

  • Apple CarPlay, how does it work?

If you want to have Apple CarPlay work with your iOS device while driving a few things must happen to allow for it to work properly. You first need to take the USB to Lightning cable from the center console (if requested to provide ahead of time or bring your own) and plug your device into the front USB plug on the lower level dash area. Once doing that, you need to access the CarPlay section of the iOS device to select Uconnect as the device you want to pair CarPlay with and then it will take about 90 seconds to pair the Jeep system to the iOS device. Once you have done that the phone tab of the touchscreen will turn to CarPlay and allow for all your native and third party enabled apps to be used, including text messaging (which can be read by saying ‘read new messages’ once pushing the speak button on the steering wheel), phone calls, Apple Maps, Google Maps (if installed) (Spotify, Audiobooks, Waze) among other great apps you’d use while driving. To unpair the iOS device from the Jeep just go to the CarPlay section of the iOS device and select the unpair option and your information and details will no longer be available to the Jeep or stored in the Jeep ever, including addresses for navigation through the native or third party maps apps. If needing assistance upon pickup I’d gladly and quickly pair your device to the Jeep and enable CarPlay!

  • I have a furry family member who’s a service animal, does a fee still apply to me or am I exempt? What’s your animal policy?

All furry family members that might join your journey and adventure are required to include the add on feature that’s for pet transporting. We encourage you to use a restraint or seatbelt with your furry family member for safety reasons as coverage under insurance cover furry family members as a personal property claim and thus if something was to occur during your travels adequate coverage for treatment or untimely death might not be provided. If you have a service animal, you’re still bound to the add on option to add a furry family member to your journey and adventure. You are NOT exempted from the fee due to the cleaning requirements and possible stains or messes that have to be cleaned upon return of the rental period. If you attempt to bring a furry family member with you on your adventure or journey, you may be hit with a higher daily fee and administrative fee from Turo for not following policy and could be denied use of the platform for a period of time while still required to pay the fee for a furry family member. Furry family members include cats of all breeds, dogs of all breeds and sizes (larger dogs may require the back seats be laid flat down to allow additional room for comfort) and maximum one cat per reservation and two dogs per reservation, regardless of breed or size.

  • Early Returns or Extensions to a reservation, do you allow them and is there a fee or refund.

If for any reason you’re forced to return the Jeep early, there is no refund of time not utilised of the entire reservation. Please contact me to see if I’m available to accept the return of my Jeep early or if a custodian is able to accept back the key fob and do a inspection of the vehicle. Usually am able to accommodate an early return. Please also use the Turo app to request a earlier than 90 minute return to justify and allow Turo notification that your returning early and so that I am able to checkout the return appropriately through the app. If the circumstances are of dire need to return the Jeep early, we can discuss a partial refund for unused days or hours of the reservation period (circumstances include family death and having to leave the city ASAP, severe injury, illness or hospitalisation and things of that nature). Extensions to rental periods are on an availability basis, anything returned after 90m later than the end of the return window incurs additional hourly fees and can be a full days rental when returned over six hours after return window is up. If you have reached out to me prior to the end of your reservation, we can see if the Jeep is available and if so use the app to extend your reservation by hours or days if need be. I always keep my calendar updated daily when I know I have it unavailable for personal reasons and so those times usually aren’t able to be adjusted as of set appointment times of mine or other specific events I must attend. The daily rate for those new days added, even if different than rates for the week or days previous will be charged and can be included in the weekly or monthly discount percent provided by me. Failure to return the car and not contacting me after six hours of your delivery window will activate the LowJack system and law enforcement will be notified to a potentially stolen Jeep, when it might not be the case. Communication is key in this area of things. If failure to contact me about returning late due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances outside your control could cause me to have to involve Turo and that can also cause additional issues and complications for the current booking of my jeep and potentially for future bookings.

  • How do you make additional trunk space?

The two backseats fold down forward flat, headrest and all. They lay flat level to that of the trunk to allow for one single level of space to tailgate, watch the stars, pack in a furry family member or pack it with whatever you’re needing the room for. The seats split 1/3 and 2/3 and there is a latch that is required to be pulled to disengage the locking mechanism that holds them in the upright position. Once disengaging the latch, simply push the back seats forward towards the front of the Jeep to allow for them to lie flat and add the extensive extra room you might require. Once done, simply push the seats into their upright positions until you hear the latch click and that will confirm that the seat is secure and able to be ridden in by passengers. If there’s any issues during your trip with lowering or returning seats back to normal let me know and we can FaceTime or Google Duo chat to make sure that they’re back where they should be safely.

  • Is there safety features for a car seat installed in the rear seating area?

Yes, there are two hooks attached to the bottom seats of the back seat that allows you to snap in your car seat in a backwards facing direction to secure the car seat is additionally attached and secured with an additional seatbelt way of securing the car seat so that the seat doesn’t move during travel or in the unfortunate likelihood of an accident occurring. There is just room for one car seat with this level of protection in the rear seating area so plan accordingly. Please don’t use a car seat ever in the front seat of the jeep as it’s not safely designed to be able to located there.

  • How many passengers can fit into the Jeep?

The maximum occupancy of Conrad is 5 passengers total as there are only two seat belts in the bucket seats upfront for a passenger and driver and three on the bench style seating in the back. If you’re bringing a furry family member make sure there’s adequate room and if on the larger size of the breed I’d say the maximum safe occupancy is 4. Also the most comfortable seating is with just four (4) total passengers, the middle bucket seat and seatbelt can be cramped and tricky, plus uncomfortable for long stretches of road. It does safely fit five average adults in both the front and back seating, I would recommend four maximum of going on a longer distance driving time but that’s from my personal experience and friends feedback.

  • Where is the gas tank located? How come there is no gas cap, how does that work?

The gas tank is located on the rear panel of the right side (passenger side) of the Jeep and can be filled with just regular unleaded petrol only please, it doesn’t have a gas cap and ensuring once completed filling him up that you close the metal flap securely is crucial to ensure no dirt, dust or sand buildup in the fuel input area. It opens by pushing the little notch on the top left corner of the metal panel and you simply put in the hose end into the sealed intake spot and beware that if you remove the nozzle from the input slot quickly once finished it can leak and so let it sit an extra 15/20 seconds to allow any excess gas to either enter into the gas tank or evaporate or stop coming from the nozzle. Safety is key and overfilling can lead to spillage and a fire hazard, so don’t overfill the tank at any time. It has a 12.7 gallon total tank interior space and typically at current costs of gas in the area as of 18 May takes average $20 to fill half a tank of petrol whenever returning the Jeep either to the pickup location at my house or delivery selection you choose. It has a unique way of displaying fuel level and uses a bar system on the right side of the speedometer and as long as it’s either completely full or only down one bar I don’t count that against not being returned as less than a full tank. Anything less than that I do request reimbursement from the Turo app.

  • Where do you have car wash privileges?

I actually follow recommended care for my Conrad and per Jeep policy and to keep the costing of the wheels, the outer body and the wheel wells intact and not damage them I contract out my hand washing of my Jeep to a single individual whose typically available in half a days notice, longer is preferred. Just reach out to me and I can setup the time, place and payment for getting the Jeep hand washed to a sparkly perfection after a muddy or dusty day, or even a rainy day. This service is complementary to my guests and can be used one time every third day that you have a reservation with Conrad. It not only keeps the car clean and looking nice, it’s part of proper maintenance overall.

  • Are you flexible with extra mileage that isn’t excessive?

I do not have a strict policy for mileage and offer daily what I do based on driving for the area and attractions nearby, including Los Angeles and OC and San Diego. If mileage is over by 37 miles or more, I count and charge for each additional mile. If you only went over the mileage maximum by less than 37 miles I don’t get greedy and strict, we all sometimes have the need for a few extra miles. If you’re going to be over your reservations mileage amount, reach out and we could possibly come to an arrangement to both of our satisfaction.

  • Do you allow babies as passengers?

I do not discriminate based on age, but interior stains from a small child or baby that are not able to be cleaned easily by mild soap and water will incur a fee and based on the severity of the light interior stains or mess required to be cleaned by me, Turo will charge an appropriate fee to you for the time and effort and sometimes necessary professional cleaning that’s required. Just be aware of your surroundings and your children during each ride.

  • What safety features are included in the event of an accident or rolling the Jeep?

The Jeep is equipped with standard front airbags for the front seats, drivers side has a knee airbag to cushion the blow from a t-bone or rollover accident situation, both the front and rear drivers side and passenger side window seats have side curtain airbags that cover the length of the window to allow you to not hit against the glass or pavement in an simple accident or rollover accident. If you do find yourself in a minor collision with another vehicle, please provide them with the insurance information through Turo you selected at checkout, take photographs of the damage to the Jeep as well as their car, document how many passengers were in the car you collided with, call the sheriff department to have them send an officer out to file a police report and deescalate any situation that might arise, don’t ever admit fault of the accident and even when you’re responsible due to distracted driving, texting and driving (which is illegal in California) or such things. Once you have exchanged license and insurance documents, gotten the deputy to assess the scene and file a report if any damage is required to be fixed even with or without airbag deployment. Once finished, contact Turo immediately about the minor to moderate collision and then contact me with details of the collision and send the photographs of the damage done to Conrad and the other vehicle. If airbags are deployed, even if just a simple crash you must call the sheriff deputy to come file a police report, clear the scene and if able to, move the car to the shoulder of the road and allow the deputy to dispatch a tow truck to have it sent to the lot deemed appropriate by Turo for repairs or evaluation. If there is anybody physically hurt or killed in a minor to moderate accident or you rollover, you also must call 9-1-1 for first responders and a sheriff deputy to come and secure the scene, determine if you’re impaired or not and dispatch a tow truck to take to a lot approved by Turo. Injury and death due to an accident adds 2 points on your license, only 1 point on your license if you only have property damage or totaled the car you’re driving. Safety is the most paramount thing in any traffic collision and once safely able to and after calling 9-1-1 for emergency services and deputy’s on scene, call Turo for the next step and see where the car needs to be towed, then call me regarding the accident and details with photos. If you are injured please seek medical attention and be safe by going to the hospital via ambulance as the seatbelt can cause collapsed lungs, rib bruising, rib fractures / breaks and contusions along with immense pains across your lap and chest when the seatbelt engages to secure you to your seat in the event of a moderate to severe or rollover accident. Your safety is paramount to me, but contact Turo and myself ASAP once treated adequately. I understand accidents happen and that’s why they’re called accidents but minimise your part in one by not letting yourself drive distracted or impaired and if required please even if not approved by Turo allow another individual who’s not impaired or distracted to drive you home or wherever your staying or park Conrad safely and use Uber or Lyft to get home or your destination safely and return the following morning to get him while no longer impaired or such.

  • Is there room for a foldable wheelchair or walker with ample room for at least three people?

Yes, the trunk can accommodate a plus size wheelchair that’s foldable and can accommodate any style of walker that might be required by our guests of need. This car is very accommodating to those with physical limitations due to its distance off the ground, the space to store the required air devices and overall comfort in the front seat for those of different abilities. The trunk can hold a full plus size wheelchair, but please don’t try to cram it into the back seats as that can and does cause tears and rips in seat fabric which could be assessed a fee once your adventure comes to an end. Please use the trunk to store any and all assistance devices you require to safely maneuver the world and get in and out of the Jeep.

  • Is your Jeep a good fit for someone who has a physical disability, if so what makes it accommodating to differently abled people?

This car is a great choice for both passengers and drivers that have physical limitations of one kind or another. As long as the safety of the vehicle isn’t compromised at any time I’m not one to judge about another’s ability’s or disabilities, physical or mental. The height of the seats for front passenger and driver are more than adequate to easily transfer from a wheelchair, walker, cane or most other assistive devices. Backseat bench seats are more upright and can be a good choice for some people with physical limitations that require a rigid and soft but locked in place back support and the ability to get into the back seats requires just a little few additional inches from the downward seating front seats as the bench seat is raised higher than the front seats. Ample room for three to four people when traveling with somebody who has a physical limitation and the comfort of the front and back seats are beyond the standard and even offer perks like cup holders, a USB charging port for those needing to charge their devices and safety features that will ensure your safety at all times.

  • How do I get the First Responder Price of $15-$20 per rental day?

Book your initial dates of wanting to book your trip and if your able to immediately send me a message with your first responders details and shoot me over a valid form of your proof of being a first responder to my phone number to confirm it and then I will provide additional instructions once able to validate your responder status and provide the quoted rate of the $15 or $20 per day rate. Short term and long term rental options are available!

  • During COVID-19 Viral Pandemic how do you sanitise your vehicle before each rental period?

Even before the new strictly placed cleaning and disinfecting guidelines as hosts have been put into place as of 1 June 2020, which includes a detailed checklist provided to the renter upon first entering the vehicle about what’s been sanitised properly and how and where they can also find additional hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes for use during their trip if they prefer or want to use them additionally. I’ve always provided a comprehensive first aid kit in my trunk, a bottle of fresh linen Febreze available for use and additional disinfecting wipes and complementary hand sanitiser for guests use during any rental period. I always make sure I am one step above what’s the mandatory minimum and always provide additional access to items and such that might be required or wanted during their rental period at anytime with no extra cost to the renter because for my Jeep and it’s ability to be both clean and safe and sanitised inside and out during the entire trip from pickup to return is my highest priority and because I’m unable to offer contactless key handoffs I do always wear a mask when meeting my renters and their guests at delivery or pickup and up return or pickup at the specific location they selected and I always sanitise the inside my Jeep at the last possible moments to allow for the cleanliness to be as fresh and as up to date as possible and I do wear a mask if delivery is selected for the entire time I’m inside the vehicle after it’s been properly and throughly sanitised per both my higher standards and the standards set by Truro that are in effect as of 1 June 2020 for the foreseeable future. If you incurred any additional costs associated with running out of extra disinfecting wipes and had to purchase your own, or the hand sanitiser was not enough for the trip length and you had to purchase your own please let me know and if I can’t monetarily reimburse you directly I would like to make it right however possible as safety as do health of those renting my Jeeps are of my utmost ultimate concern during this time of a health crisis.

  • During the Pandemic how are you ensuring safety of renters and those riding along?

Even before Turo required deeply cleaning and disinfecting between trips with the new checklist we’re to provide upon handoff of the keys, I already deeply disinfected the frequent touched areas of my Jeep’s listed and always thoroughly cleaned the inside and outside before each new rental period was to begin. I also have always provided prior to the required host accommodation of additional disinfecting wipes made available during the rental period, offering hand sanitiser during the rental period, providing masks for the maximum number of passengers able to fit into my Jeep’s at one time and I’ve always worn a mask during delivery to customers or if they were to pick up the car from my location then I’d meet them with a mask on and once the Jeep’s disinfected completely I don’t step foot into it unless delivery is required and then I wipe down upon arrival the few places I did touch to get the vehicle to the delivery location and always wear a mask the entire trip to make delivery!
