The Model Y has the engaging performance that’s become a hallmark of the Tesla brand. Its dual-motor electric drivetrain delivers instant torque to all four wheels resulting in quick acceleration with a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds in this Long Range model. On top of a higher top speed and a quicker 0-60 time, the Performance model adds performance brakes and a lowered suspension. It comes together to create an exciting driving experience without sacrificing its practicality. The Performance model still has an electric range of over 300 miles. The interior of the Tesla Model Y has a sleek and minimalist design. It uses premium vegan simulated leather materials and a tasteful piece of wood trim spanning the dashboard. The centerpiece of the interior is a 15-inch infotainment system that controls just about everything. It has a bit of a learning curve, and we wish it came with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
