Description

Its rare to find an H3 in the rental market, in this good of shape, its one of the best SUVs that is a real off-road vehicle and can handle real adventures. It is manual as well, which is even rarer and maximizes the performance. This is a vehicle that is comparable with a Jeep wrangler, and is more on the side of being a real off road adventurer, than a full luxury SUV. It has been used and well maintained as a daily driver, yet is still in very nice shape for its age. Do NOT remove any type of seat cover, wheel cover or floor mats, thanks

Guidelines

Please choose an upgraded protection plan before you pickup, if you are planning off roading. This makes for a much smoother and worry free interaction., As an example, each offroad tire retails for $279 plus tax. Suspension repairs run into the thousands and it is quite easy to damage a vehicle in offroad settings. This vehicle is a manual. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with operation of a manual larger vehicle, as the shift is not what you would expect in a sports car and should be performed smoothly. This vehicle has leather seats which are in good condition and not torn or damaged. Please treat them with some respect. No smoking, including cannabis in the h3. Please follow local laws regarding driving under the influence of alcohol, cannabis or other substances. Thank you

Faqs

  • How do you remove the parking brake?

There is a handle right beneath the headlight knob, which will release the parking brake with a simple light tug. The parking brake pedal is the pedal to the left of the clutch and applies upon stepping down. Stepping down on it further WILL NOT release it. Only the parking brake release handle will release it. Please use care as an extreme amount of strength is not typically necessary

This guy really screwed us over. Not only a transmission leak but also the car was repossessed 12 hours after we picked it up. We tried contacting him and nothing. I wish I was joking, but I’m not unfortunately. DO NOT RENT FROM HIM.

Jonathan Paul's response

Well first of all Sarah to have a transmission leak you have to have an automatic transmission. The hummer is a manual transmission. It does not have the parts necessary for the leakage of transmission fluid as you are describing. Peoples finances have been affected all over the country by the effects of covid on business. Turn on the news sometime. Turo hosts rent to Sarah - chances are you will have a headache and a low rating no matter what.

The car was great and perfect for trips to national parks!! The pickup and return went great and contactless! The only thing was that the car didn’t accelerate very good and we had to drive in the 4th most of them time & couldn’t get over 70 mph... We also had some problems with turning it on a couple times but we figured that might be because of the heat we had on this day. All in one it was a wonderful opportunity, especially for people under 21 and he was very nice and responded quickly!
