I use a contactless pick up from this location. The specific location and lockbox code will be provided directly to the customer via TURO app messaging the day of pickup.

Guidelines

1. ⛽️ The car is expected to be returned with the same fuel level as when you initiated the rental. (Unless you opted for the Prepaid fuel extra) 2. 🚭 No smoking inside the vehicle per Turo policies. No exceptions. If the car requires deodorization, you are subject to up to a $250 fee. 3. 🚫🐕 No pets inside the vehicle per Turo policies. Same policy as above. If the car requires deodorization, you will be charged $150.

  • What are the fees associated with late pickups/returns?

    Please be punctual with your expected pickup/dropoff times as indicated in your reservation. There is a 15 minute grace period for late pickups/dropoffs. Per Turo policies, a $50 charge will be applied per hour up to $200 if the car is returned late. We understand that in certain extenuating circumstances, late arrivals/dropoffs cannot be avoided. However I encourage guests to always communicate via messaging or by giving me a direct call. I will do our best to accommodate changes to the originally scheduled times. However, due to limited staff and potential subsequent bookings for the same vehicle, I cannot guarantee that your newly requested times will be honored. If you plan on making changes to your reservation, please provide at least 2 hours of lead time to increase the probability of having your request accepted.

  • What is the pick up / drop off process for the Newport News/Williamsburg International airport (PHF).

    I use the scheduled pick up time to determine when the car will be parked at the airport. My aim is to have the car parked and ready for pick up 30 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time. This allows each customer up to 30 minutes to pick up and complete the TURO check in process without having to pay extra to exit the parking lot. I use a contactless pick up method. The specifics regarding the cars exact location and the code to the lockbox that houses the key fob will be sent 30 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time. NOTE: Specifics are contingent upon you uploading a selfie of you holding your drivers license to the trips section of the TURO app and or website. Also a youtube video that illustrates the contactless delivery will be sent via the TURO app on the day of your arrival. On the day of departure please return the vehicle back to the same parking lot used when you arrived and place the key into the lock box and mount it back on the widow in the same exact place and manner as it was when you arrived. Please plan to allow enough time at least 5-10 minutes to evaluate the car upon its return. Additional correspondence will be required to ensure precise car location and an efficient return.

  • What do I do in the event of an incident?

    Any and all incidents that occur during a scheduled trip/booking are managed by TURO's 24/7 Customer Support and Roadside Assistance line. 1-415-965-4525. A physical document with this information is also kept in the car.

  • Is there a fee for smoking in the vehicle?

    Yes TURO charges up to $250 for smoking in the vehicle.
