The tire flew off the car, but this review is strictly due to Ontario's attitude and way of speaking to me. Things happen and I understand that sometimes a tire issue is not in anyone's control. The entire back passenger tire flew off, while driving straight on the freeway, which was terrifying. We had our 2 & 4 year old in the backseat and I'm pregnant. The car shook and we did our best to safely get to the side of the freeway. The towing service said they couldn't drive my family either. When on the phone with Turo they said the towing service was covered. Now suddenly 2 days later, I get an email that we owe $218 more for the towing service. Ontario told me to "take some accountability" among a few other snarky sentences when I reached out to him, instead of being empathetic and helping me contact Turo to reverse this charge as we shouldn't be responsible for it when we did nothing wrong driving straight on a highway. I am mostly upset with the communication and lack of sensitivity Ontario showed me through our conversation. Aside from that the car was okay. It was frustrating locking and unlocking the vehicle, it infuriated my husband each time. You have to detach the key etc. It's not as simple as a button. There were minor frustrations similar to that, but overall the car was fine, until the tire randomly flew off. The pickup and drop off process of the car were very easy which was nice. I booked this car because the reviews were fantastic. And I probably would have left a better one too had I not been met with attitude from the owner of the vehicle. If roles were reversed I would have said "Let me reach out to Turo and see if we can get this charge dropped" knowing the frightening experience my customers just had involving young children. But I was met with more of a "this is your problem" type of snarky attitude which was disappointing.

I care about 2 things when renting a vehicle from Turo...1) A responsible owner who is good at communication. 2) A good/reliable car that meets my expectations. Both were top notch. Ontario did not disappoint -- great communication and he was helpful. And his X1 was awesome -- everything in the vehicle worked, it was comfortable, and it provided my business trip with peace of mind. When returning to Nashville, I'll reach out to Ontario again.

Great Car and great host. My 1st time using Turo and Ontario couldn't have been more helpful, gratuitous, and prompt with his responses. The was wonderful and a JOY to drive. The hand sanitizer in the center console was a welcoming thing to see as well!!
