To avoid EV recharging fees, please return the vehicle charged to the same level you received it with! NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES inside of the vehicle, any spills or stains will result in a $150 cleaning violation fee! NO SMOKING!!! Charges will be applied if there are odors/traces of smoking inside. No smoking/marijuana/fragrance/air fresheners, any lingering smell will be reported to Turo and charged up to $250 violation fee! NO PETS!!! UNLESS PRIOR APPROVAL BY HOST IS RECEIVED (if approved, requires purchasing extra - Pet fee of $150 should be added with booking to cover cleaning after your pet).

• How do I charge the vehicle?

  Tesla owns and operates the world's largest network of fast charging stations called Superchargers. There are thousands of them all over the US and many of them in Southern California. Supercharger locations can be seen on Tesla navigation screen (if you don’t see them – tap the lightning bolt icon in the top right area of the map screen) along with how many charging docks are available currently at each location. Supercharger access is offered as a convenience, but it's NOT FREE. You will be responsible for charging fees which are automatically billed to my Tesla account. At the end of the trip, I will submit an invoice through Turo for all Supercharger costs. You can also charge the car by accessing a public charger outside of Tesla network. You will need to set up your own payment account with the company that owns the chargers. Also, upon request before pickup, I can provide a Tesla charger (mobile connector) for charging in your garage if you have access to an outlet. It will include standard 110 outlet adapter (allows charging from a regular household outlet at the very slow rate) and NEMA 14-50 adapter for use with 240V outlets, commonly found at RV campgrounds or mobile home parks. IMPORTANT: When plugging into an outlet – you might need to adjust the current on the charging screen to match your outlet circuit amperage rating - for the 110V outlets it's usually 15-20 AMP (for the 14-50 NEMA outlets it's usually 50 AMP but some installations use lower rated circuit breaker). There is also a J1772-to-Tesla charging adapter for use at J1772 charging stations.

• Can I use the Toll Roads?

  Yes, I have an account with the Toll Roads and a transponder in the car. I'll send you an invoice through the app for all the toll charges incurred during your trip after I get my statement.
