Description
One of the highest rated vehicles according to IIHS. This 2017 Mazda CX-5 is loaded with lots of interior options. It’s equipped with heads up display, headlights that turn with the curvy mountain roads, heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel and upgraded stereo system. The subwoofer does take up some space in the back as you can see in the pictures. Pet Friendly. Not only does the CX-5 look great but it offers excellent performance and handling. The car provides a smooth ride with great pick up and excellent gas mileage. Great for long term and short term rentals. This vehicle is now hosted by Mountain Rides! Car quality was great. The pick up could’ve been better, our pick up time was 6:30, but I communicated with Lucas that we would be landing about 45 minutes prior to our pickup time and received no communication back until right at 6:30. Then we realized we had to take an airport shuttle to the lot the car was parked in, and saw that the car had been parked in that lot for 6 hours prior to us arriving based on the ticket from the parking lot. So we had to sit in the airport for an extra 45 minutes when we could’ve already been on our way out, we were asked twice for our incoming flight information with no regard to our actual arrival time and no response.
I set our pickup time for 30 minutes past the actual arrival time because I’ve never flown into this airport before, so you never know how long it’ll take to actually exit the airport.
We were also told the car would have a lock box on the inside with the keys locked in it, there was no lockbox, which caused concern for our drop off and the possibility of it being stolen between me dropping it off and the owner picking it up due to leaving it unlocked in an unattended parking lot. During our stay, the management company changed and there was confusion on where to drop the car off when we returned to the airport. It all seemed a little sketchy that the management changed shortly after I let Lucas know that there wasn’t a lockbox and that the car was actually left in the parking lot totally unlocked with keys available to be stolen and driven away at anytime.
Ultimately, this is concerning for me because I don’t want the responsibility falling on me when someone else failed to lock the keys up like they were supposed to.
