If car seats are used without protectors and the leather is damaged you will be responsible for the damages. **Let us know if you think there is a chance you'll want to remove the driver and passenger rooftop panels. Removing the panels is a little tricky and they are easily damaged. We are happy to show you how two people can easily remove, store, and reinstall the roof panels. Upon request, we'll also provide you with a storage bag for these roof panels. No pets. No smoking. No towing. No off-roading of any kind. No rock-crawling. Do not remove Jeep's full top. Do not remove Jeep's doors. Do not lower or remove the Jeep's windshield. Do not use extension cords with the 120v charging cable provided.

• How much does it cost to charge the electric vehicle system?

  Some publicly available EV stations are free. Others charge a fee per kWh that varies depending on the time of day, the location, and the vendor. From zero to full recently cost us $2.36USD for a full charge.

• How long does the battery last?

  The Jeep is a hybrid. It is designed to optimize performance by operating with a combination of battery and gas. If the vehicle battery is fully charged, it will go about 21 miles on the battery alone before using more gas. But even after the battery is at less than 1%, the Jeep will use the gas engine to generate power for the electric engine. It also uses regenerative braking to charge the battery. This improves the gas mileage of the Jeep significantly above other Jeep Wranglers and makes the ride really smooth and quiet.

• Do I have to charge it to drive it?

  No, the Jeep can run on gas alone.

• How do I charge the Jeep?

  Watch this three-minute video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBCAyJx-cKY produced by Jeep. You can charge the Jeep at any retail EV charging station (except Tesla chargers). Simply plug a charging cord (that uses the same connector) into the charging port located just in front of the driver's door. Salt Lake City has dozens of free charging stations you can find by searching online or using an app such as ChargePoint. There's also a charging cable under the load floor panel in the back of the Jeep. Simply lift it to retrieve the cord. It can be plugged into any regular 120V power outlet. DO NOT use any extension cord with the 120V Level-1 charging cable. This can damage the charger and the Jeep. A 240V Level-2 retail charger takes about 2-and-1/2 hours to fully charge the Jeep. Using the Jeep's 120V cord to charge from a regular outlet will take about 12 hours to fully charge. • How do I start, stop and operate the Jeep?

With your foot on the brake and the vehicle in park, press the start button. Same process to stop it. There is a "Jeep Wrangler Quick Start Guide" in the glove box. It covers many topics including: vehicle overview, use your lights and wipers, and operate your 4-wheel drive. It also has an indicator light legend on the back cover. The guide includes QR codes to websites with additional information. The Jeep is also good at providing messages on the dash screen and center console screen. The full owner operation manual can be found in the rear cargo space, under the load mat, in the storage compartment, in a green bag.

• What are the difference between Hybrid, Electric and E-Save modes?

  Go fully electric, a hybrid combination of gas and electric, or use only gas to save battery power for another time. Use the Drive Mode switches to the left of the steering column and choose how to cruise: HYBRID -- Default mode. depletes electric range first, then switches to gas. Here, you experience the best acceleration and HVAC performance. ELECTRIC -- The engine is prevented from starting (unless needed,) and the vehicle is powered exclusively by the battery. This mode is sometimes unavailable; for example, if the battery charge is too low. E-SAVE -- Use gas for power exclusively, saving battery power for another time.

• The refueling door is slow to open?

  Press the button to release the fuel door. It will open in 5 seconds. There may a delay in extreme heat conditions.
