Guidelines
**If you will be using car seats or boosters please let me know. I have car seat protectors I will install to help protect the leather. If car seats are used without protectors and the leather is damaged you will be responsible for the damages. No off-roading. No pets Do not use extension cords with the home charger. Using extension cords will cause damage to the electrical battery system. Refuel with premium fuel only (91). Using a lower octane will cause performance issues (engine knocking) and may permanently damage the engine. Only use trackless car washes where the vehicle remains still in park in the car washing area. This car has an Auto Hold (Auto H) feature which keeps the car from moving in relation to its surroundings until you press the gas pedal. While handy at stop lights, it is not so helpful in car washes that use tracks. If and when this feature is accidentally enabled in a car wash that uses a track, the vehicle will auto brake and keep itself from moving down the track. This can cause damage to the vehicle and risk collision from a vehicle approaching on the track from behind.

How do I start and stop the car?
TO START: Have key in vehicle. Foot on brake. Press the start button on the center console to the left of the shifter. Press the black button on the left side of the shifter knob, while pressing this button push the shifter forward or backward until you get to the gear you want - Reverse (R), Neutral (N), Drive (D). TO STOP: Bring vehicle to a full stop. Foot on brake. Press the black button on the rear of the shifter knob to place vehicle in park. Refer to onboard computer manual for more information.
Where can I charge it?
A cord is provided in the cargo area under the load mat. This cord can be used at home with a normal 110v outlet. Or you can charge it at a public station provided by a vendor. Some public stations charge a fee per kWh. Using the hybrid is cheaper than gas but takes longer than filling up with gas. Feel free to return the car with the electric batteries depleted. We will fill it up for you at no additional charge.
