As a Super Host we take care of you with the best services and quality possible. Please read our policy so we can work together for the maximum satisfaction. Here you will see our commercial insurance information and some Turo Policy that we are following together. Responsibilities Be sure to do the following: * Take pictures of the fuel gauge and miles before and after your trip. * Replace the fuel and return the vehicle with the same level of gas it had at the start of your trip. * When you replace the gas, get and keep a receipt for at least 5 days as proof of refueling. Be sure the receipt shows: date, time, price per gallon, number of gallons and total cost. *Return the car on time. *Don’t smoke inside the vehicle. *Return the car in the same condition as given. Reimbursements * If you don’t replace the gas, your host can request reimbursement for their cost to replace the gas plus a $10 convenience fee. * You’re responsible for parking tickets, towing costs, and traffic tickets. Please be proactive and pay your tickets to avoid paying $25 processing fee later. We offer $5 per day unlimited tolls that is mandatory * Additional miles: If you drive more miles than the ones included in your reservation host will charge for additional miles. $0.5 per additional mile up to $1,000. * Cleaning the car: If you return a car unreasonably dirtier than it was when you received it or are found to have smoked in the car, your host may request a cleaning fee. To avoid disputes, take photos at check-in and checkout to document the car’s condition. Cleaning, pet, or smoking violation $20, $30, $50, $100, $150, or $250, depending on the severity. Late return fee $20 Cost of additional usage 30 minutes – 1 hour 59 minutes: ½ the average daily trip price 2 hours or more: average daily trip price for 1 day Improper return fee $50: If we have to pick the car up(without delivery in your reservation) or tow it (plus towing cost) Guest cancellation: Either one or 1/2 of a day’s average trip cost, based on the average trip cost and trip length. Guest no-show: Two days average cost or 75% of a day’s average daily trip cost, based on the trip’s length. *** Security Deposit is mandatory*** $500 This will cover repairs for minor damages to the vehicle and reimbursements mentioned above. Returned one week after the end of your reservation. Personal insurance requirements for guests Terms to know * Guest - Refers to the primary guest tied to the trip booking. We also use it to refer to any Turo authorized secondary drivers. * Physical damage - Any damage to the vehicle, including Mechanical Damage and Interior Damage. * Related Costs - These include all costs and fees resulting from damage of any kind to the Vehicle during the booked trip. Cost and fees include but are not limited to: * estimation or appraisal costs * storage fees * towing fees * repair or replacement costs * registration or transfer taxes * claims processing costs and all similar or associated costs, minus any residual salvage value that’s collected. * Vehicle - Refers to the vehicle booked during the applicable reservation. All renters must select one of this plans. * "Standard" plan: This plan will cost $20 per day. $500 deposit is mandatory at the beginning of the rental. Under the Standard plan, the amount that the primary Guest is liable to pay out of their own pocket for Physical Damage (include Mechanical or Interior Damage) to the Vehicle during the booked trip, plus Related Costs such as claims administrative fees and appraisal costs (and after exhaustion of any other applicable insurance), is contractually limited to $1000. When damage is reported, the primary Guest will be charged a $1000 damage deposit. If the final damages plus all Related Costs, minus insurance collected, are below the deposit amount, or the claim is not covered, the difference will be refunded. * "Minimum" plan: This plan will cost $10 per day. $3000 Deposit is mandatory at the beginning of the rental. Under the Minimum plan, the amount that the primary Guest is liable to pay out of their own pocket for Physical Damage (include Mechanical or Interior Damage) to the Vehicle during the booked trip, plus Related Costs such as claims administrative fees and appraisal costs (and after exhaustion of any other applicable insurance), is contractually limited to $3,000 only. When damage is reported, the primary Guest will be charged a $1000 damage deposit unless there was major damage (non drivable) to the Vehicle, in which case a $3,000 damage deposit will be charged. If the final damages plus all Related Costs, minus insurance collected, are below the deposit amount, or the claim is not covered, the difference will be refunded.
