The booking process was good. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I was advised the soft, convertible top of the Jeep was damaged a little by the previous renter. Candida, the woman who dropped off the vehicle, said they did a temporary fix, but the previous renter acknowledged the damage and would be paying to get it fully fixed. She said we could still use the top, but when we unlatched the latch on the driver side we could see it was not working well, so we left it alone. We couldn’t even latch it back. One of my friends is in the military and has extensive experience with Jeeps. We could tell it still was not fixed properly. We didn’t even take the top down. We actually have Candida on video explaining about the damage from the previous renter, as we were taking pictures and video of the Jeep. When we returned the vehicle, we told Candida we unlatched it, and saw it still would not work. She said no worries, the previous person messed it up, and the person will pay for the damage. It was already bad enough we were not advised of this before picking up the vehicle, but Candida was super nice, and we were ready for our vacation. Today, the day after returning the vehicle, the owner Paulette sent me a text stating that she took the vehicle to the mechanic and the mechanic is charging $150 to fix the top, and since we unlatched it she wants us to help with the cost. She said I had two options help pay the $150 to the mechanic, or continue with the dispute via Turo, and she said that would be more expensive. I said we will have to dispute with Turo, because I should not have to pay for damages that I did not do. This might be my first and last time renting via Turo. This was not a good experience.

I called Paulette as soon as my family and I arrived to the airport and within 2 minutes Robert was outside waiting for us, perfect timing. Returning was easy as well, they were already waiting for us at the airport which help speed up our check in process. Paulette was very easy to communicate with and answered back right away. The Jeep when we got it was very clean, well maintained, and very sanitized. Thank you guys for a great experience. We will for sure see you guys again next year 🙏🏼

The tríp was great. We had to extend for a few hours and Paulette responded quickly advising us how to extend for a few hours. Jeep was clean and as advertised. Thanks Paulette.
