My car must be returned with a MAX tank of gas, as well as, vacuumed and washed. Turo states to return vehicle in "like condition", normal use is okay. Turo fines for returning a car dirty or sandy up to $150.00. For missing gas, they charge a $10 convenience fee plus the cost of the missing gas. NO EARLY PICKUPS OR LATE RETURNS. Turo ONLY insures my vehicle and what it hits DURING the rental period. If something happens before the start or end time, TURO WILL NOT COVER IT. The Turo insurance card and accident advice cards will be in the glovebox along with my registration. Turo charges late return fees. If you are going to be late, please extend the trip BEFORE the trip ends so you won’t be charged the late fee plus the additional usage fee. You CANNOT extend the trip once the time of return has passed. Simply click “Change Trip” and change the return time as necessary. If there is a renter for the vehicle right after you, you will NOT be able to extend your trip and WILL be charged the late fee. There is a carwash called Sudz car wash in Lihue. Basic wash starts at $12.00. There is a vacuum that you can do manually right on property. It is usually not busy and you can be out of there within 20 min.
