McKinsey was a great host. Very polite and great communication. The car however was in bad shape. Multiple spots of damage. It had an axle issue which made it shake on a flat road. We had to add oil because the car seemed to leak oil. McKinsey did have a spare bottle of oil in the trunk but wasn’t the best to put in oil on a vacation. The backseat was not clean and the trunk had no light and was very difficult to open and shut. Wasn’t easy to enjoy our vacation with all the damage the car had because I constantly was hoping/thinking about not being blamed for any of the damage because it definitely was not done by us.

Mckinsey's response

Hi Jess! So sorry the condition of the interior wasn’t up to par. I started renting my car out this summer after someone told me about TURO as solution for the car rental shortage. I thought it would be nice to provide a service for travelers struggling to find a car rental. It’s a six year old car and while I did my best to keep it in great shape this summer some of the wear and tear from keeping it rented out is taking it’s toll. I’m removing my car from the app to give it some attention.

Great communication and directions to car location at the airport. Car looks awesome on the outside, a little tired inside. Everything was in good working order: A/C, wipers radio, seatbelt.
