When I booked the trip, I didn’t realize that pick up/drop off was at a residence and not the airport, which is what I searched for. I contacted the owner he agreed to do airport pick-up drop off for $80 (both ways). So I ended up paying an additional $160. Also, it is illegal for Turo drivers to do pick up and drop off at the Orlando airport at the departures/arrivals area (as I was informed by a very angry parking attendant). This is information that I was completely unaware of because I have never been to Orlando. When I informed the owner that the woman at the airport took a picture of his license plate, he asked me if I would pay any ticket or fines from the exchange (which I will not because I wasn’t aware of that rule at the Orlando airport). Also, I was charged a $30 cleaning fee, which is supposed to be for when vehicles are returned “unreasonably dirty”. The vehicle was returned very clean but I was unable to take pictures because I too busy getting yelled at by the woman at the airport. This is the worst Turo experience I’ve ever had.

I apologize, but unfortunately we were unable to change the Turo application policy. We try to help when we propose to take the car to the airport, precisely because you have done a search and the application has not given the correct information. I hope the experience with us as an owner has been good. I apologize again if something has not gone as expected. I kindly ask that the claims that were made in relation to the application be sent to the call center. I am so sorry.

the car was not ready, neither clean nor with a full tank. mistook the date scheduled for car pick-up, thinking that the date would be Friday when the correct date would be Thursday as he was programming in the application.

As we cover in person, we apologize for what happened and I also want to stress that the car was clean. In the app I put the gas tank as it was.

Great car to rent. Easy pick up and drop off. Would highly recommend. The only problem was it is very difficult to figure out the tolls in Florida when they just snap your license plate. I was assured it will go through Turo and we will get the bill.
