Parking details
This Jeep is equipped with remote unlock and we will unlock the door when arrive at the pickup point. Please be ready to verify your identity at the pickup location by uploading a picture of yourself along with your drivers license to the trip photos in the Turo App. You should cover up the first few digits of your license. Please text or call me when you have landed so I can be ready on my end. After remote verification, I will unlock the car remotely. The key will be in the cup holder inside a bag that disables the key. You will need to remove the key from this bag in order to start and operate the Jeep. Please keep the bag in a safe location because you will need it when returning the Jeep. Pickup for free at my Home in Wailea. There is no public parking at my home.

Jared and his Jeep were awesome.

Jeep was amazing and served its purpose well. Enjoyed the convertible rooftop, which was perfect for when it rains and you need to close the roof quickly. Did not enjoy Jared‘s unwillingness to help when it came time to return the car. When I made the reservation, I notated I wanted to pick the car up in Wailea and drop the car off in Lahina since I was staying in Wailea for the first part of my trip and Lahaina in the second part. To my surprise when it came time to turn the car back in, Jared indicated we must bring the car back to Wailea. this cost me several hours of inconvenience on my vacation and over $100 Uber fees. Other than this one issue, everything was great.

To be clear, there was no communication from Mike about picking up and dropping off at separate locations. Mike booked his trip to pickup and drop off at one location and never communicated his desire until the day the jeep was due to be returned. Additionally, Turo does not have options for picking up and dropping off at separate locations so blaming the host for this is very frustrating. Leaving a bad review for this is so disappointing. I won’t be hosting Mike on any of his future trips.
