No Smoking or any type of marijuana smell is allowed in the car. If there is any lingering smell, we will report to Turo and charge in excess $150 for detail and cleaning services. Although car is pet friendly, please clean up and pet hair or remnants or there will be $150 cleaning fee assessed.

Will car come activated with toll pass?
Car will have license plate that is registered with the toll roads that is accessible at all toll roads and bridges. We will ask for reimbursement at end of trip and payable via Turo app.
Does gas need to be filled? What octane gas do I use?
Car will usually come with a full tank of Unleaded Premium 91 gas. Please return it at same fuel level fuel. Please note travelers are responsible for bringing back the vehicle with the same gas level as when it is picked up, as per Turo policy. If not filled, it would be actual cost of gas + $10 inconvenience fee.
Do you offer car seats?
We offer car seats for all ages. Please select the extra for the amount of car seats needed. When picking up the car, please remind agent of the car seats needed - Due to liability reasons, we cannot install car seats for customers. It is customer responsibility to install carseat
Is there smoking permitted in the car?
NO SMOKING! If there is any lingering smell cigarette, marijuana, vaping smell we will report to Turo. Turo can charge in excess $150 for detail and cleaning services.
Do we have to clean the car when returning?
Customer is not expected to clean or disinfect the vehicle before returning. However, if the vehicle is in a condition that only could have been caused by irresponsible or abusive behavior, we will report to Turo. Turo customer support will then review the evidence and charge a cleaning violation of $150 and possible removal from Turo. The GPS is not a built in GPS, GPS are rented separately just as you would do on a baby seat.

I had no major issues, this went fine, just want to give other Turo renters a heads up on what to expect. This is not an individual it is a company that's Houston operation is in a neighborhood fairly near the airport and the cars are kind of scattered around the shop yard when you get there. The Cherokee we rented had major scratch damage to the windshield, but not where you look out to drive. The headrests on the front were a little messed up and the car smelled like smoke and there were dings in the body and no USB charging, but other than that it drove fine and did the job. The shuttle driver who picked us up was great, very nice. The one that took us back to the airport was not the normal driver, he I think worked there cleaning cars, he stood and watched as we put our luggage in the van and then jumped out at the airport to help so as to maybe receive a tip which he didn't get. He wasn't friendly. All in all, given the price for a full size SUV I may rent from them again knowing what I'm getting into, but I'd do some comparison first.
