Description

Brand new long range Tesla Y. You'll love how this car can adapt to the way you want to drive. The steering can be soft or sporty. While this is not the "performance" model, it still has an amazing 0-60 hair raising factor due to the tremendous torque. (You are responsible for your own speeding tickets) I am only 10 miles from BWI, so pickup and drop off is pretty simple. It's hard to compare to an ICE (internal combustion engine), because it's more like driving a computer on wheels. If you're prone to geekdom... you'll want to get your own Tesla after driving this one. It has 8 cameras and 4 sensors and probably "sees" situations better than humans do. The cruise control will keep you in your lane... no hands or feet needed. This makes long drives so much more pleasurable, especially rush hour or stop and go traffic. The car will maintain the specified distance to the car in front. (I did not get the Full Navigation System autopilot, which is still in Beta mode.) Rent this car for a day to see what it's all about. I'll show you how to navigate the computer and some of the tricks that make this car a dream to drive. (15-30minutes of personal Tesla instruction, no charge.) I want to see more Teslas on the road.

Camping gear

So far, I just have this super cushy 4 inch memory foam mattress that really comes in handy for long car trips or just star gazing. The mattress has a removable, washable cover. Bring your own pillows and sleeping bag.

$15/trip1 available

Guidelines

No pets. No smoking of any kind. ANY evidence of smoking or vaping will require costly cabin filter change and ozone treatment. Renter will be charged $250

Faqs

  • How do I charge this Tesla?

The Tesla screen will suggest super chargers along your route. Some super chargers operate slower than others. (72kw vs 150kw per hour) Don't let the car get below a 20% charge (or 60 miles). Driving fast will use up your energy faster than driving slower. Back up to a super charger, tap the driver side back port to open it and plug in the super charger nozzle. The Tesla screen will tell you about the charging. To disconnect, press the dot on top of the "nozzle" and pull it off the car.
