If I'm flying in to Dallas, why do you recommend choosing a delivery location/airport over the address the car is located at?
The vehicle is in Frisco, which is approximately 30 miles from the airport. Through Uber or Lyft, as they will need to go on Tolls as well, this can be upwards of $50 one way. Adding in the drop-off and pick-up fee will let you be more flexible with your trip!
What if I cannot pickup the car at any of the locations included? Can you deliver to a specified location nearby?
Yes, I will work with you on a preferred address if that is more convenient. Please keep in mind I will adjust the price accordingly to the distance and time of notice before pickup.
How will the Highway for Texas Tolls be charged? Is it unlimited?
It is up to you on how many miles you wish to drive on the Tollways. The vehicle has a Texas Toll Tag and all of the charges during your trip duration will be charged to you on Turo after the trip. This will usually be done within a week after your trip ends.
At what charge will I receive the vehicle and how much would I need to return it by? How does charging the vehicle work?
The vehicle will be given to you at a charge of 80% or more at the start of your trip. Please return the vehicle at 80% charge or more, otherwise Turo will charge you the charge amount + a flat fee based on the charge the vehicle was returned at. Please download the PlugShare app for planning purposes to see the local fast chargers (EVgo, Electrify America, ChargePoint). It was a real pleasure renting from Vivek. From the get go, he was very responsive and was always ready to answer any questions I had.
The 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ was such a dream to drive. It’s sleek aerodynamic design and hypnotizing grill light show easily makes it stand out. This vehicle was turning heads every time I hit the road. I was approached by random people who were clearly interested in the vehicle and even surprised to learn that it’s an EV. The vehicle interior is loaded with EV tech features seamlessly interwoven with luxury presentation. As a Tesla fan, I was fairly impressed with the fit and finish and the cloud like ride quality.
In the future, I would make sure to research fast charging stations locations ahead of time to avoid any unnecessary delays in my daily schedule.
Overall, I would most definitely rent from Vivek and would highly recommend him to others.
