If you would like to change the duration of your trip, I will try my best to accommodate you BEFORE your trip ends. No trailers or equipment hooked to tow hitch🚫 🧼🚗I will clean and detail the car before every rental. I ask that you don't bring the car back with trash or excessively dirty. A cleaning fee charge will apply for bring the car back excessively dirty or smelling of smoke.

The car looked nice but all 4 tires were defective. One of the tires had a leak from a nail “that was there for quite some time” per the tire shop tech in sideways thru the tread, was patched 3 previous times the tire shop could not patch again. The NTB tire shop didn’t have a match to purchase; the 2 front tires were showing wires/cord as pointed out by the shop rep. Went to 2nd tire shop (discount tire), was told at drop off there was 4 to be replaced on the purchase order… but that’s where the sunshine on this trip stopped. The phone number left for the car owner to authorize repairs went unanswered. So the car sat all day no repairs. Upon reaching the owner, he declined to replace the tires despite the tire shop recommend all be replaced as they were clearly at the end of their service life and the front tires showing the cords. He wanted to replace only the one with the leak. The owner suggested to me maybe Turo road-side assistance would bring us another tire for free. I contacted Turo, the next almost 8 hours, promises made and then promises rescinded… long story short (and this is the shorter version) ultimately the trip was promised to be partially refunded. So far, I’ve ended up (as of writing this) with paying for the Turo rental, 2 Lyft trips, missing 2 days of vacation dealing with the unsafe/dysfunctional car, on our way now in a Enterprise rental car from the nearest airport. I guess the moral of the story is, just rent from a nationwide dealer….IMO with Turos prices so expensive (original trip $895.00/7 days), it is not worth it. I guess I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the refund to come thru and the reimbursement for this enterprise car once I submit the receipt. Maybe I can submit an update to their review that is all positive … we shall see.
