If tolls are taken, you will be subject to charge of the cost of toll and ticket fees. The car has a toll pass. You will be responsible for any fees + penalties Damage Claims - We like to handle claims directly with our guests if possible. If not possible, then we go through Turo. Claims may include: - windshield/rock chips - scratches to the interior and exterior of the vehicle - tire/wheel damage - interior damage to seats, consuls, etc. - Guests are responsible for these damages that occur during your trip, intentional or not. Insurance coverage may be used if purchased prior to your trip. So please be mindful of this. Drive a distance away from vehicles in front of you and careful with open containers inside the vehicle. Gas - Can't refill? No problem! I understand you are on vacation. I will refill the gas for you and just request reimbursement for the cost of gas! Cleaning Policies - We just kindly request that the interior of the car be returned in the same condition in which it was received and trash inside the car be thrown away prior to returning the vehicle. If the vehicle is not returned clean inside and out, as given to you, a $24 fee will be charged to you. If the car needs a complete cleaning or detailing, costs could be more. Turo Insurance & Multiple Drivers - For insurance purposes, it is recommended to add additional drivers on the Turo website before the trip. Insurance is available from Turo. They provide liability insurance in your rental fee (during your rental period only- they do not cover the vehicle outside your booking hours) but they also offer additional coverage for an extra fee.   • What happens if I return the car dirty?
    A $24 fee will be charged to you.  You can prepay a cleaning fee by adding an “extra” during booking. If the car needs additional cleaning or detailing, the costs could be more. If you choose to clean the vehicle prior to returning it, please use a TOUCH-LESS carwash.
  • Can I let someone else drive the car during the rental?
    No, under no circumstances can you let someone drive the car during your rental period. If you’d like to add a second insured driver, you must contact Turo.  By violating this policy, insurance will become void, and you will be personally liable for any and all damage. 
  • What type of fuel do I refill the vehicle with?
    Midgrade (87 octane) or above only
  • How are damage claims handled?
    We like to handle claims directly with our guests if possible. If not possible, then we go through Turo. Car should have the same amount of gas as well left you with and be clean as well (same conditions as when picked up). Message me when you're on the way to ParkDIA to return the vehicle. Once you park it, please send me the location of where you parked it (Row__, Zone__) along with a few pictures of the vehicle. The vehicle was pretty decent, the remote start was difficult to figure out and it honks loudly multiple times before starting (not good for neighbors) and it needs a bluetooth connection. However we actually ended up needing the 4X4 on the final day with the snow and ice buildup so that was nice to have. There’s only 1 gas station near the airport and it’s not near the DLA. That was really frustrating. Also, pickup from airport to parking lot is really efficient but going from the lot to the airport isn’t and even though we left with plenty of time, between the fuel stop and the slow transit we were really rushing to our gate. Also, in the mess of trying to get to the airport we had forgotten a Starbucks mug in the back seat (we collect them at all the places we’ve traveled) I asked for Ahmad to send it to me and I would pay whatever the amount was and he said he would but I haven’t heard from him in days and we’re really disappointed we won’t be able to get our mug back. Ultimately we won’t be renting from Ahmad again. The car wasn’t clean when we received it, it had a chip in the glass that I’m sure they charged someone for and we aren’t getting a precious keepsake back.

We work very hard to keep our vehicles in top shape so our guests can enjoy their trip here in CO.
