Rules: No smoking of any kind in the vehicles. No Pets allowed in the vehicle. Host, love animals but think about allergies on next guest. Take the consideration of other passengers that may have allergies. Please return vehicles in the same clean condition that you received it in or simply pay the post cleaning and host will be more than happy to take care of it. Lost or stolen key fob , replacement $300 Late Return: Late returns will be subject to additional fees by Turo. It's best to always communicate late returns to make proper arrangements. You can request to change your check-out time and the request can either be approved or denied based on availability. In the event that communicate is not made and the host and/or Turo can not get in touch with guest then the vehicle will be subject to remote disabling.

  • WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT?

    Unfortunately, accidents do happen...in the event you're in an accident, please contact TURO's customer service ASAP to report the incident and damages. It's important to give as much info as possible. Also, being upfront and honest during this process will help to make this process easier for everyone.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M LATE RETURNING VEHICLE?

    If your running late on a return , it's always best to communicate with the host ASAP. Please keep in mind that the host may have other bookings scheduled, so communicate always for late returns. You may request to extend your drop off time inside of the TURO app. The host will have 7 hours to approve or deny your late request. Please keep in mind that TURO may charge you additional fees for late returns that aren't shared with Host. * In the event that the driver has become uncooperative in communications during a late return the vehicle can be subject to " Remote Disabling" until communication can be re-established.

  • Can other people drive the car guest booked?

    Yes, multiple guests can drive the car you book on Turo, as long as they are all approved to drive. The primary driver ( whoever booked the car) can add additional drivers before or during a trip for no additional cost. Only approved drivers are allowed to drive the vehicle.

  • WHAT IF IM HAVING PROGRAMS OPERATION FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES OF THE VEHICLE?

    Contact the HOST for vehicle operations (Turo will be unable to help with this).

  • WHO CAN DRIVE THE VEHICLE ON RENTALS?

    Only approved drivers that have been added to the reservation are allowed to operate the vehicle. You can add approved drivers in the TURO app.

  • Can I pick up the vehicle early?

    No, you can not pick up vehicle early unless you have requested a time modification in the TURO app and has been approved by the host. The host may deny or approve early pick-ups based on availability.

  • SHOULD I GET TURO'S INSURANCE?

    YES, to fully protect yourself it's best to sign up for TURO's or the HOST's insurance coverage (If offered). In most insurance cases your personal insurance policy may not cover you during your car sharing trip with TURO. It's best to check with your insurance provider to confirm coverage.

  • WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE MY DRIVERS LICENSE DURING CHECK-IN?

    As a HOST, it's imperative that we protect our assets, with that being said, a host is only covered and protected by following the proper guidelines and procedures with absolutely no exceptions. YOU WILL BE DENIED VEHICLE ACCESS WITHOUT YOUR "VALID " DRIVERS LICENSE.

  • WHAT IF MY LICENSE IS EXPIRED?

    TURO insurance will not cover someone with a expired license in the event of an accident. All license must be valid and unexpired to gain access to Vehicle. No photo-copied or picture of ID's will be accepted.

  • SHOULD I CLEAN THE VEHICLE BEFORE RETURNING IT?

    100% of the time the vehicle will be cleaned and properly disinfected no matter of the condition it's brought back in. Post vehicle cleaning cost is about $20. If you decide to clean the vehicle yourself, please provide receipts to have the post cleaning charges waived.
