Description

Thank you for considering one of my 4x4 SUVs for your trip to Colorado. It is my goal to help make your trip to Colorado the best it can be. As a host since September 2016 I have completed over 1,250 trips I am here to answer any and all questions you may have regarding your reservation. If you are a first-time user please make sure you are receiving notifications from the app as this will be our main source of communication. I look forward to meeting you when you arrive. Denver International Airport delivery is available. Please select SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver Airport at check out. <IMPORTANT POLICIES> *AGE RESTRICTIONS Turo may allow drivers under the age of 21 to book vehicles on the platform, unfortunately my insurance carrier does NOT allow anyone under the age of 21 to operate any of my vehicles. Please upload a picture of your valid drivers license. **INSURANCE** Please upload a photo of your current active personal insurance policy. ***ADDITIONAL DRIVERS*** There is no additional charge for additional drivers. However, they MUST meet the following criteria: be approved by Turo, 21 years of age and older, upload a picture of their valid drivers license. Pictures can be uploaded to the app under the "Details" tab and "Trip Photos", please upload trip photos at your earliest possible convenience after booking. If you have difficulty uploading the pictures, please message me and I will help walk you through the process. <<NEW EXTRAS>> Automatically SAVE $15.00 when purchasing Pre-Paid Post Trip Cleaning, I HIGHLY recommend using this extra, it will save you time and money when returning the Suburban at the end of your trip, especially if you are flying in/out of Denver International Airport. Now about my 2011 Tahoe: Tipping the scales at three tons and casting a 17-foot shadow, the 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe defines the large American SUV. In 2007 General Motors redesigned the Tahoe and its larger brother, the Suburban, by placing it on the beefy GMT900 chassis, shared with the Silverado pickup. This strong platform makes for a rough-and-ready SUV that's more than capable of handling some real work. Powered by the venerable Chevy small-block V8, displacing 5.3 liters, that delivers confident acceleration. Safety features like side torso airbags, combined with its 6,000-pound curb weight, make the Tahoe a strong performer in crash tests. A 5.3-liter small-block V8, cast in iron and topped by iron pushrod heads, sees duty in all non-hybrid 2011 Tahoes. Admirably powerful, the V8 delivers 320 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque on a flat curve. Acceleration while unladen is enthusiastic, and the Tahoe has plenty of reserve passing power. The Tahoe's six-speed automatic transmission, standard, serves up crisp, well-timed shifts and features a tow/haul mode for better load-pulling power. 4WD LS has an electronic on-demand system with optional low-range transfer case that ensures excellent traction on or off-road. 2011 Tahoe's can tow up to 8,500 pounds when properly equipped. The 2011 Tahoe's independent front and five-link rear suspension are tuned for maximum comfort. Plenty of articulation and soft springs contribute to a supple, smooth ride both on and off-road. Around town the Tahoe's steering is light and accurate and facilitates reasonably easy handling. Tight parking spots or alleys will still pose a problem, but the Tahoe is surprisingly easy to place once you get used to its dimensions. Spaciousness is a common trait among large SUVs, and the 2011 Tahoe is no exception. With over 109 cubic feet of cargo capacity, the Tahoe can swallow lots of gear, five passengers can be carried easily and the first and second-row legroom is excellent. The 2011 Tahoe's classy, well-fitted cabin is a welcome change from the plasticky GM interiors of yore. With pleasing contours and top-quality materials, the Tahoe finally has a dashboard to match the competition. Soft-touch plastics surround a center stack that features well-placed radio and climate controls. The tall driving position and lack of adjustable pedals in the PPV might not suit smaller drivers, but the wide, supportive seats are comfortable for all. Standard features on the Tahoe PPV include power windows, locks, mirrors, and seats, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. Front, side, and curtain airbags standard in every 2011 Tahoe trim. That commitment to safety continues with electronic stability control and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS provide good stopping power. If my Tahoe 4WD doesn't suit your needs, or if your group needs more then one SUV, please copy and paste one of the following links to see my other SUVs and cars: 2019 Chevrolet Suburban LT RST "Raven" - https://turo.com/us/en/suv-rental/united-states/denver-co/chevrolet/suburban/1099004 2013 Chevrolet Suburban LT 4WD "Shaq" - https://turo.com/us/en/suv-rental/united-states/denver-co/chevrolet/suburban/849260 2012 Chevrolet Suburban LT 4WD "Black Pearl" - https://turo.com/rentals/suvs/Chevrolet-Suburban/547598 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4WD "Karma" - https://turo.com/us/en-us/suv-rental/denver-co/chevrolet/tahoe/730873 2011 Chevrolet Suburban LT 4WD "Sonia" - https://turo.com/rentals/suvs/Chevrolet-Suburban/542181 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4WD "Tonia" - https://turo.com/rentals/suvs/co/aurora/Chevrolet-Tahoe/517817 2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV AWD "Carri" - https://turo.com/us/en/suv-rental/united-states/denver-co/cadillac/escalade-esv/728272 2009 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ 4WD "Snow White" - https://turo.com/us/en-us/suv-rental/denver-co/chevrolet/suburban/528555 2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT 4WD, "Tina" - https://turo.com/rentals/suvs/co/aurora/Chevrolet-Trailblazer/337714 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS "Tess" - https://turo.com/us/en/suv-rental/united-states/denver-co/chevrolet/trailblazer/690100 2007 Ford Mustang GT Convertible "Sasha" - https://turo.com/rentals/cars/Ford-Mustang/237759 2007 Toyota Camry Solara - https://turo.com/rentals/cars/Toyota-Camry-Solara/474701 2005 GMC Yukon Denali AWD "Gwen" - https://turo.com/rentals/suvs/co/aurora/GMC-Yukon/207909 If you have a 'out-of-the-ordinary' request, just ask and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. Parking details

If you are a local guest, I have parking available for your vehicle when picking up and returning to this location. We will confirm the details after booking. If you are a traveling guest, there are a couple options for you to get from the terminal to my garage, none of which are less expensive then my delivery fee to a hotel near the terminal. I am happy to work with whichever mode you decide works best for you and your group. We will confirm the details after booking.

Guidelines

Please no smoking (of any kind) in or adjacent to my Tahoe. Should you partake in some Colorado candy, please be respectful that the smoke absorbed in your clothes and luggage will permeate into the carpet and leave a residual odor. At which point I will have no choice but to submit a smoking claim through Turo. Thank you for your cooperation. If your flight arrives or departs between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. you will need to pick up/return my vehicle to an offsite parking facility or hotel. I will provide instructions/directions on where to find the shuttle prior to your incoming/departing flight(s). The shuttle service to/from the airport terminal is free to you, all I ask is that you tip the driver.

Faqs

  • How does the toll tag work?

Colorado does not use toll booths, the toll tag on the Tahoe logs tolls automatically and deducts the charges from my prepaid account. Once I receive the toll statement I will process a request for reimbursement. Toll pass does not mean you receive free tolls.

Working with Will was great! Quick, easy communication all throughout the rental. Nice to work with someone with so much experience on Turo. The car was clean and the pickup and drop off went seamlessly. The Tahoe itself had some issues. The transmission was slippy when climbing up into the mountains and would double downshift when trying to accelerate. Did fine when you slowly get up to speed. Also the right front tire would scrape the wheel well when turning, especially when backing up. I would’ve rated 5 stars except for the issues with the Tahoe’s performance.

I have used this app on more than few occasions! I have never repeat never had a better experience with an owner! The customer care snd attention to detail was amazing! Had Will not already been an independent businessman, I would hire him in an instant. It truly was a rare pleasure to work with him!

Everything was okay but didn’t receive the car promptly. And didn’t seem to do much for it

Will's response

Didn't do much for being late, other then deliver it to his location instead of the reservation location. He thanked me by destroying a wheel and tire and denying doing so.

Will was great to rent from! Very responsive and made the rental process very easy. However, I would not rent the Tahoe again. It is an old police car, so some typical functions you’d get with a regular Tahoe don’t exist, it was very outdated, no way to use Bluetooth, several broken parts in the interior of the car, the check engine light went on and off several times, and the transmission was sketchy at best in the mountains. Like I said, Will is great, just not this vehicle.
