Pet Policy: While we love furry friends, we do not allow pets of any kind and appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Smoking Policy: No smoking of any kind allowed, ever. Not with the windows down, not with the panoramic roof open, not ever, any time. If smoking is detected, fees will be assessed. We appreciate you understanding. Extras: We have a few small extras in the car for you to enjoy on your journey like Kleenex, sanitizing wipes, etc. Use what you need and please clean out your trash, but leave the packages with remaining items in the vehicle for the next person to use.

• What type of fuel does this vehicle require?

  The BMW X5 requires *PREMIUM FUEL* ONLY. We take this very seriously as this greatly impacts our vehicle's overall car health. We understand the cost of fuel is rising but please understand that choosing to rent this car means you are choosing to pay for premium fuel :) Thank you!

• Can I take this vehicle off roading?

  Turo's Terms of Service forbids “off roading” on undeveloped or unimproved roads. If it is discovered that you took the vehicle off road, you will be charged a violation fee and any damages will be assessed and charged for accordingly. Please note that engaging in any prohibited use may result in the following: - Void your protection for any physical damage to a host’s vehicle - Lower your liability coverage to state minimum limits or nullify liability coverage where allowed by state law - Charge a violation fee - Temporarily suspend your use of the platform - Remove you from Turo You can view the full list and information around prohibited use at this link: https://help.turo.com/prohibited-uses-Hyi0E4l49

• What if I need to return the vehicle later than my scheduled trip end time?

  We are often flexible in our availability and it is often not an issue for you to keep the vehicle longer than the originally scheduled end time. If you do need an extension, please contact us to inquire and see if we accommodate this request. If we can, you will need to update the trip details to reflect the new trip end time. We cannot make any of these changes on our end but are happy to help you through the process if you need help.

• Who is allowed to drive the vehicle?

  Only Turo-approved drivers can book and drive a car during a Turo trip. To be an “Approved Driver” means that the guest has provided and updated all required documentation, continues to meet all Turo requirements for booking a car, is currently in good standing, and, as per our Terms of Service, is listed on the reservation. Typically, this means that the person who's profile you are making the reservation from, and who is a Turo-approved driver is allowed to drive the vehicle. Guests may request and be approved to add an additional Approved Driver to a trip through the Trip Details. Please note that if you need to create a new Turo account for an additional driver, it can take some time for the driver approval to come through and the additional driver to be added to the trip. If necessary, we recommend creating a new profile for the additional driver and uploading all required documents as soon as possible to ensure that they can be added to the trip in a timely manner. All drivers shall be jointly and severally liable for the trip, but the primary guest (meaning the Turo guest who books the trip) shall remain primarily liable.
