Soft Top operation - Please watch this video to learn about how the soft top is lowered and raised - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVTICvxV06s There are velco straps that are used to hold the rails while the roof is in sunroof mode or fully lowered. The straps are in the glove box. Please put the side plastic window side curtains under the rug in the rear of the Jeep so they don't blow out. It is a challenge for a first time user raising the top from the full down position. It is a two person job. The jeep can be scratched and damaged by the rails if they flip incorrectly when raising the top. If you are unsure about fully lowering the top I would suggest putting the front portion of the top in the back position and removing the side curtains. You will get open air driving with less hassle trying to raise the full roof. When choosing your booking time, this is the time I will meet you curbside or the time the car will be ready in the parking lot. If you have checked bags you should give 30-45 minutes after arrival to get your bags and meet curbside. If you have carry on luggage only you should give 15-30 minutes to meet curbside after arrival. I now provide self check out at Fort Lauderdale Airport free of charge. The car will be waiting for you at a lot at the airport. There is a free 5 minute ride shuttle to and from the lot. There are 3 pickup locations at the arrival terminals at Fort Lauderdale airport. The key for the car is in a lock-box on the drivers window of the car. For self checkout Turo requires renters to send me a picture of your drivers license and a picture of you with your drivers license 24 hours prior to the start of the rental. I have had several renters use self check out and they really like it. It is fast and the car is waiting for you if you have a flight delay or an issue with luggage. Prior to your arrival I will email you the easy instructions for self checkout. If my schedule permits I can provide curbside checkout. If the forward hard top is removed care must be taken to not damage the fiberglass roof pieces. There is also a bag provided for the roof to keep them from getting scratched while in the back of the Jeep. I can show you at the time of key hand off how to remove the forward top. This car is equipped with a Florida SunPass Toll Transponder. You can drive through the SunPass gate and the toll will be charged to your account. A couple days after your rental I run a report of your usage and submit to Turo for payment. It is very easy. I deliver the car full of fuel. Please return full. Getting all the sand out is very difficult. Also if you visit the beach don't worry about any sand left in the car. Everybody can enjoy the beach :) Do not leave the car unattended with the top down. Rain Storms can develop in Florida very quickly. If the car is rain flooded the fine is $1000. Trip Rules - - No Hard Accelerations - No deliberate Hard Braking - No Racing - No burnouts (Tire tread depth is measured before each rental. Burnt tires is a fine of $500) - No off roading - No Speeds over 85 MPH - No smoking of any kind If these rules are broken the rental will end early and fines will be applied.
