Description
This vehicle is located in Irving—center of the Metroplex between DFW & Love Field off HWY 183 & 114—so can be conveniently picked up easily from anywhere in the Metroplex or delivered to Love Field (DFW doesn’t permit Turo to operate on airport grounds, unfortunately). This Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend edition sports the stunning cactus grey paint. It feels rugged and is AWD, but has a sophisticated look, a great ride and very comfortable interior with tons of amenities (like Apple CarPlay/Android Auto/Bluetooth) and safety features (like lane-keep assist, blind-spot warning, etc.). It looks great out at the trailhead for a day hike, but still looks good for a dressed-up night out on the town, too! The Ecoboost engine has plenty of power for getting on the DFW highways, but is great on gas for SUV due to its 1.5L engine and start-stop technology. Equipped with Ford’s 5 driving G.O.A.T. Modes—normal, eco, sport, slippery & sand (but off-roading is NOT permitted per Turo’s policies; off-roading could result in a charge for misuse and removal from the Turo platform). Loads of safety features to keep your trip accident-free: lane-keep assist, pre-collision assist (active braking), rearview camera, cross-traffic alert, blind-spot warning, driver alert (warns inattentive or sleepy drivers), traction control, rear occupant/carseat-check reminder and 911 assist (calls 911 when phone plugged in via USB and a crash is detected). Ample cargo space for a good amount of luggage. Yes, Ford does have an issue with their screens being a bit glitchy. I have quite a few Fords in my fleet, so it would be nice if they’d find a fix. Luckily the work around of hard-booting the screens turns what could be a bigger issue into a minor inconvenience, but I regret you had to deal with it at all. Regards!
