  • What happens if I bring the car back with less gas than when I received it?

    If you don’t replace the gas, your host can invoice you for the cost to replace the missing fuel plus a $10* convenience fee. If you don’t fully recharge an electric vehicle, your host can charge you $10*-$50*, depending on the charge level.   • Can additional drivers be added to my trip?

    Only you can request to add a driver; your host can’t do it for you. We encourage you to add a driver to your trip before it starts; however, guests in the US and Canada can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress. There is no fee or additional charge for adding a driver.  As the primary driver, you must be the one to pick up and return the car. You also assume all financial responsibility for the car during the trip.

  • Should I purchase damage protection?

    Yes, I would suggest a renter purchase damage protection to limit your total out-of-pocket expenses in case something unforeseen happens. I would recommend, AT LEAST, the STANDARD PROTECTION, which will limit your out of pocket expenses to $500. You never know when someone will hit you, or you hit something, or someone slashes the tires on the vehicle you rented. Go ahead and spend the extra money to protect yourself! You could be saving yourself hundreds, to thousands of dollars.

Jared was amazing! He met us at the airport, even after we were delayed, for the pick up. The car is in pristine condition, has a toll pass, and is so spacious. Jared was available for questions and instructions, and was very patient with us (this was our first experience with Turos!) We would absolutely recommend Jared and his vehicles!
