Does gas need to be filled? What octane gas do I use?
Vehicle will usually come with a full tank of gas. Please return it at the same gas level with at least 89 octane unleaded fuel. Please note travelers are responsible for bringing back the vehicle with the same gas level as when it is picked up, as per Turo policy. If not filled, it would be the actual cost of gas + $10 inconvenience fee.
What is the minimum level of gas required to refill the tank?
We recommend filling the tank when the tank reaches 1⁄4. Don’t let the empty tank light turn on.
Is there smoking permitted in the car?
NO SMOKING of any kind! If there is any lingering smell cigarette, marijuana, vaping smell we will report to Turo. Turo can charge in excess $150.00 for detail and cleaning services.
Will vehicles come activated with a toll pass?
No, but we can handle a transporter for a minimum fee. Any toll will be asked for reimbursement at the end of the trip and payable via Turo app.
What do I do if I am dropping of out of your business hours?
No worries, you can drop it off. Please let us know and we will reply to you with directions.
I have an emergency, and need more days. Can I extend my trip?
As long as the vehicle is available we can extend your trip. However, if the vehicle is rented, we can rent you another available vehicle.
