No smoking and no pets. Lighters, wraps, ash, and strong air freshener odors all constitute as evidence of smoking. Please note that FSD beta is very strict about driver attentiveness - it uses an internal cabin camera and artificial intelligence to determine if a driver is holding their phone or not watching the road. If you receive three warnings in one drive, it will disable the Beta and it may be removed from the vehicle. Please note that FSD is a $10,000 feature add-on from Tesla, so if removal happens during your drive, you will incur potential fees. It’s very much a beta, so it’s in your best interest to pay attention anyway :) You will have access to Pay Per Use Superchargers, as well as ChargePoint and other J1772 stations. Please do not keep the battery under 10% or under 60 miles for extended periods of time (6 hours). This is damaging to the battery and you agree that doing so will warrant a repossession and no refund - if you rent my car, you agree not to let the vehicle sit under 10% for more than 6 hours. If it does, I will initiate a repo process. Lastly, please note that this car is booked regularly. If you’d like to shorten your trip, you are welcome to drop the car off early, but please note that there are no refunds as it’s typically booked early and shortening the trip once it has already started makes it difficult for us to fill in the rental days. If you’d like to extend your trip, please let me know as soon as you’re interested in it so that I can get those days blocked off for you before someone rents it!

• How does charging work?

  Tesla has Superchargers located all over Columbus and Ohio. Simply roll up, back in, and plug in! Note that there is a cost associated with this that is charged to my account, and you will receive an invoice at the end of your trip for all charging costs.

• Does this car have autopilot?

  Yes! On highways and any roads that have lane lines, it is able to steer and maintain a speed for you. Please note that the in-cabin camera uses Artificial Intelligence to monitor driver attention. If the driver is found to use their phone on autopilot or FSD, Tesla may remove FSD from the car (a $10,000 value). If this happens during a guest trip, the guest is liable for the monetary value - by renting the car, you are agreeing to this.

• Will I get 320 miles of range?

  Range is dependent on a number of factors - temperature (colder = worse for electric vehicles), driving style, and road conditions. 320 miles of range is the EPA rating (slower than 60mph in average road conditions).

• I’ve never driven a Tesla before. How will I know how to use it?

  Not to worry at all - if possible, I will sit with you and walk you through everything. If contactless or delivery, I will walk you through things remotely and have videos ready to show you how to use the vehicle!

• How do I need to return the car?

  Please return the interior in the same condition that you received it. There are free vacuums at multiple car washes nearby. As for the exterior, please do not wash the vehicle. I handwash my vehicles to preserve the paint.

• How do I take care of the battery?

  Unless you are doing a long distance drive, do not change the charge limit higher than 85%. Additionally, do not let the car fall below 10% or 30 miles or range. Failure to maintain battery levels could potentially warrant a repo and early end to your reservation.

• What is the Full Self Driving Beta?

  FSD Beta provides early access to new features that Tesla is still working on, such as “autosteer on city streets,” which enables drivers to navigate around complex urban environments without moving the steering wheel with their own hands. It is extremely rare (only a few thousand Teslas in the country have this, and even less so on Turo). Please note that the in-cabin camera uses Artificial Intelligence to monitor driver attention.
