Not at this time. The option to remove the have the doors removed by the host will be available in the near future as an Extra labeled "Truck bed cover;" doors are never to be removed by guests under any circumstances.
Does host offer delivery to the airport or at guest's location? I didn't see this option.
Yes, but this option must be selected in the reservation. If guest has already reserved as "pickup at car location," or to simply request a change of location for delivery, click on "Request Change." Turo allows hosts 8 hours (or less, if your trip starts sooner than that) to approve or decline the request. If host is unable to respond to or approve the request, guest must pickup and/or drop off the vehicle at the original delivery location.
Am I able to add extra drivers to my trip? Does it cost extra? How do I add them?
Yes, you can absolutely add extra drivers! One of the things that makes Turo awesome is that you can list up to 8 additional drivers on any trip for FREE! Turo must approve this; hosts have no ability to approve OR deny. Follow these instructions for adding drivers: https://help.turo.com/en_us/adding-a-driver-to-a-trip-HksENgV5
Is it possible to extend or shorten my trip after it has already started?
Yes. In the trip details, click on "Request Change." So long as the vehicle is available, the request will be approved. These changes are subject to additional usage charges, only if another "day" is added to the trip length. Turo will not assess any "change fees," but discounts applied at booking may be adjusted or cancelled, and their "Trip fee" may change.
Is the host willing to consider some combo of pickup at car location, delivery location, and delivery to guest?
Yes - please message host for individual consideration. (For example, the guest may pickup the vehicle at the vehicle's location to start the trip, but return the vehicle at a delivery location - such as the airport - and the end of the trip.) All Turo booking guidelines, as described in the other FAQs, must still be followed.
May the vehicle be delivered to one location to start a trip, but returned at a different location at the end of the trip?
Yes. At the time of trip booking, Turo does not allow guests to set one location for pickup and a different location for return. However, guests can request to change the return location/method once trip is underway; host will approve whenever possible.
