Description

This luxury 2021 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition is amazing for many reasons! Most notable: There’s a new model for 2021 – the CX-5 Carbon Edition. Based on the luxurious Touring Preferred SV, the Carbon Edition has Polymetal Gray Paint, black 19-in wheels, and red leather seats. In other news, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on all 2021 Mazda CX-5s. So, too, is a 10.25-in center display. Mazda Connected Services, a connectivity package between your car and your smartphone, also is standard for 2021. With all-wheel drive (AWD), those figures drop slightly, to 24 mpg city/30 mpg hwy/26 mpg combined. The 2021 CX-5 comes with a generous complement of safety features, including side-impact airbags in front and rear side-curtain airbags. Smart City Brake Support is standard. This system will automatically slow or stop the CX-5 if it senses an impending collision occurs. Other standard active safety features include lane-departure warning and lane-keep assist, plus rear cross-traffic alert with blind-spot monitoring. There is a 10 speaker Bose sound system to enjoy all of your music and a sunroof for some breeze as well. There are brand new tires on the vehicle and all scheduled maintenance has been completed per the manufacturer's recommendations. It is very easy to drive and maneuver regardless of your height and an absolute blast to take on trips. You'll love it!

Faqs

  • Can I Drive to Mexico?

Turo’s Policy is If you book a car in the United States or Canada, you may drive it across the US-Canadian border. You may “NOT” drive into Mexico.

  • Can I Drive on toll roads?

Turo’s Policy is that You’re responsible for paying any bridge or road tolls, including tolls incurred while using a host’s toll device. (This Host does not have a toll device yet) Given that California is all Electronic, Tolls roads are not Authorized for in-state.

  • What if I got into an accident with another vehicle?

(Let’s hope it never comes down to that) But If you’ve had an accident with another vehicle, take these steps: 1. Record the driver’s full name, address, and contact information. Get their vehicle registration number and insurance provider. 2. Take photos of their car and the damage. 3. Get the contact details of any witnesses. 4. Provide the other party with the Turo Incident Information card. 5. Contact your host to tell them that the vehicle has been in an accident. 6. If the vehicle is undriveable, call Turo’s roadside assistance, send the vehicle to this address: 9513 Black Mountain Rd c, San Diego, CA 92126 The name of this repair shop is Black Mountain Collision. In the US, call 1-415-965-4525. In Canada, call 1-888-391-0460. 7. If you can still drive, continue your trip and report the damage within 24 hours from the time of the incident. -Use our Resolution center to file your report. -Learn the steps of the claims process in the US. -Learn the steps of the claims process in Canada.

  • Do I have to Pay for my Parking Ticket?

You must pay all tickets (other than moving violations and photo tickets) for violations committed during a trip. You’re also responsible for all parking tickets, tows, and related fines received up to 24 hours after the end of the trip, if the ticket, tow, or fine was the result of improper parking. You don’t have to pay for tickets that are related to the car itself, such as tickets for tinted windows, “fix-it” tickets, or tickets for a lack of registration or insurance. Read more at: https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203990860-Tickets-and-Tolls

  • Is a Flat Tire my fault?

There are two circumstances in which you will not be financially responsible for tire damage. If: 1. you’ve chosen the Premier protection plan 2. it’s professionally documented that the flat is the result of a tire that was either: -defective -had been subject to excessive wear such that it was unsafe to be driven as of the start of the trip -was not properly inflated when the vehicle was provided to you -had tread depth less than 4/32th of an inch -had signs of dry rot -was more than six years old

  • What to do if I get a Flat Tire?

Host Remarks: You may contact the host if need be, but this host will have a tire slime repair kit in the back of the Trunk! Turo’s Steps Below: 1. Contact roadside service to change the tire and replace it with a spare. 2. Coordinate next steps with the host. -If the tire can be repaired, it might be best to do so. -If the sidewall is damaged or the tire can’t be repaired, get the host’s approval to replace the tire with one of equal or greater quality. -Make no reduction or pro-ration based on mileage. -You’re not responsible for replacing any of the non-damaged tires.

  • What If I go over my given miles?

Keep in mind, most rentals on Turo have strict limits for mileage. My rental allowed for 100 miles per day. So if you’re planning to use Turo to book a car for a road trip, be sure to run the numbers to avoid excess mileage fees. I give a 15 mile flexibility waiver period so that the car can get back to the given pick-up location if need be. For example: If you happen to go 20 miles over the given daily mileage, you will be subjected to pay the extra mileage fee for all 20 miles.

  • What if the host receives a ticket later on?

Notify your host if you received a ticket or toll during your trip. As long as the ticket is not a moving violation or photo ticket, pay the full cost immediately. If you notify us that you’re going to pay a ticket or toll, and you follow through and do so, we won’t charge you any extra fees. If the host receives a ticket or toll notice in the mail, they may use the Reimbursement tool to request payment from you. You may be responsible for any late payment fees included on the ticket/toll that the host receives if payment was possible at the time the ticket was issued to you.

  • If it says no smoking, and I smoke anyways what happens?

A reimbursement will be going through Turo for the guest to pay $50-$250, being that we are in the Military and hold leadership positions, negative actions will be bestowed upon us if the vehicle comes through the military base gate with smells of weed. It is extremely hard to get the smell out.

  • What if the tires tread looks low?

Turo requires Tire Tread to be 4/32” or greater tread depth and tire Six years old or newer. Each tire tread is checked prior to your trip, if you take a look at the Host photos, the measurements will be shown. If you do not believe the host, you may gladly use my tread gauge. (If the Guest Returns the car, and tires are balding, this will result of a Burnout and a claim will get filed)

  • What Fuel does it take? Do I need to provide a Fuel Receipt ?

This vehicle takes Unleaded Fuel. Yes, Please keep your gas receipts in the center console or glove compartment.

  • What are examples of leaving the car dirty so that I won’t get charged?

The vehicle should be in the same condition of how you got the vehicle! Guest usually get charged on theses issues below: Sand on the floor Food in the the vehicle Items left in vehicle Ashes Unknown substances
