Description

The Model Y offers the commanding view of an SUV along with lots of space for family and cargo, while delivering sports car like performance. Smooth, no vibration, fast and stable. It just feels like it’s planted to the ground and that conveys a feeling of safety. Its technology is class-leading but still easy to operate. It's powerful, quick, and fun. And it looks hella good, too. The Tesla Model Y is an excellent crossover and an even better electric vehicle. It successfully builds on the style, range, technology, and value pioneered by the Model 3 sedan as it brings new functionality as well as the look, the space, and the capability of an SUV. I would recommend this car for a road trip "in style", maybe to Napa Valley or down the coast on Highway 1. The cargo space is impressive and will accommodate even your and your three friends' golf gear. It also works for a special date night. Or simply if you're interested in purchasing a Model Y, but aren't sure yet - take it on the road for a day or two and find out! Highlights: The color combination (black on black with black rims) makes for a sporty impression, the interior feels sleek and clean. Even for first-time TESLA drivers, the touchscreen is very intuitive to use. The many active safety features (cameras, collision warning, etc.) create a feeling of trust. This car has the basic Autopilot and has not been upgraded to Full Self Driving capability.

Guidelines

Absolutely NO SMOKING, NO PETS. I'm a non smoker, and I take my little ones in this car. So if you have a need to smoke, please stop and smoke outside. Only charge to 90% capacity. Charging cable is provided and is located inside the front trunk.

Faqs

  • How to charge the car?

Method 1: Wall Outlet - The car comes with an AC charger with common 120V and 240V adapters. However, this process can be as slow as 3 miles / hour. Method 2: Tesla's Supercharger Network - Find a Tesla Supercharging Station using the on-board navigation. Charge time is usually 30 to 50 mins. The car is linked to my Tesla Account and bills me directly. At the end of your trip I will provide a breakdown of any charging fees you may get and request reimbursement through the Post-Trip Reimbursement process. Note: A full charge costs about $8-$20 and the estimated cost of charge will be displayed for you on the screen of the vehicle during charging. At busy charging locations Tesla charges an idle fee if your car sits in a charger space after it is done charging so be sure to note the estimated charge time and be prepared to return and move the car to avoid idle fees. I will text you if the car is idling at a charger. Method 3: 3rd Party Charge Stations - There are various 3rd party chargers around that you are welcome to use. There is a J1772 adapter to charge at 3rd party stations. Carriers includes: ChargePoint, Blink, Electrify America..... Note: You will need to create account with different carriers to charge.
